Miami, FL. – September 21, 2023 – Univision, the leading Spanish-language network in the U.S., announced the return of its educational miniseries, LA FUERZA DE CREER, with a new season that promises to empower and educate Hispanic families in the United States. The fourth installment of this miniseries arrives on Univision’s screen with five consecutive episodes starting on Monday, September 25, and ending on Friday, September 29, at 1p/12c.
This miniseries, produced by Education Development Center (EDC) and Literacy Partners, with support from the U.S. National Science Foundation (La Fuerza-STEM), aims to empower Hispanic families to promote informal science learning.
“The best way to incorporate more Spanish-speaking talents into STEM careers is to start early by engaging families of young children in their native language and culture,” said Michelle López, Executive Director of La Fuerza de Familias Latinas, a parent education program led by Literacy Partners.
In the new season of LA FUERZA DE CREER, the three Carrasco sisters must learn to live without their mother, Dulce. Altagracia, the eldest, is a lab technician who struggles to find her place in the world. Santa, the middle child, is a struggling chef trying to keep the family restaurant afloat. And Milagros, the youngest, is a college student with musical talent who is searching for her voice.
As they try to overcome their grief and move on with their lives, the Carrasco sisters will need to support each other and find their own way in an increasingly demanding world.

Miami, FL. – 21 de septiembre de 2023 – Univision, la principal cadena de televisión en español en los Estados Unidos,anunció el regreso de su miniserie educativa, LA FUERZA DE CREER, con una nueva temporada que promete empoderar y educar a las familias hispanas de Estados Unidos. La cuarta entrega de esta miniserie llega a las pantallas con cinco episodios consecutivos a partir del lunes 25 de septiembre, finalizando el viernes 29 del mismo mes, a la 1p/12c.
Esta miniserie, producida por Education Development Center (EDC) y Literacy Partners, con el apoyo de la U.S. National Science Foundation (La Fuerza-STEM), tiene como principal objetivo potenciar las fortalezas de las familias hispanas para promover el aprendizaje informal de las ciencias.
Sobre LA FUERZA DE CREER, y su poder como elemento transformador de los hispanos en Estados Unidos, Michelle López, directora ejecutiva de La Fuerza de Familias Latinas, un programa de educación para padres dirigido por Literacy Partners afirmó: “La mejor manera de incorporar más talentos hispanohablantes a las carreras STEM es comenzar temprano y eso significa involucrar a las familias de niños pequeños en su propio idioma y cultura natal”.
En la nueva temporada de LA FUERZA DE CREER, tras la muerte de su madre, Dulce, las tres hermanas Carrasco, Altagracia, Santa y Milagros, deben aprender a vivir sin su guía y apoyo. Altagracia, la mayor, es una técnica de laboratorio que lucha por encontrar su lugar en el mundo; Santa, la mediana, es una chef en apuros que intenta mantener a flote el restaurante familiar; y Milagros, la menor, es una estudiante universitaria con talento musical que busca su voz.
Mientras intentan superar su dolor y seguir adelante con sus vidas, las hermanas Carrasco deberán apoyarse mutuamente y a encontrar su propio camino en un mundo cada vez más demandante.
