MIAMI – 26 JULY, 2022 – Univision’s “Domingos en Familia” (Family Sundays) is set to premiere for the first time in Spanish-language television in the U.S., the international hit reality “El Retador” (The Challenger) hosted by charismatic actress and comedian Consuelo Duval. Starting on August 14 at 8 p.m. ET, the new reality show will delight the entire family with extraordinary talent, exciting performances, and fun-filled entertainment.
Created by the “Pequeños Gigantes” producer Rubén Galindo, “El Retador” will bring together talented individuals of all ages from all over Latin America and the United States to compete with “Campeones” (Champions), established artists, in three different disciplines: dance, singing, and imitation for a chance to win a cash prize that accumulates week after week. Participating as “Campeones” in the competition are: Mexican actor and comedian Arath de la Torre, Mexican singer and actress Dulce, Cuban TV actor and singer Adrian di Monte, and Argentine TV actress, host, and ballet dancer Pia Sanz.
In each episode, two candidates will showcase their talent to a panel of renowned judges, and compete to earn the title of “El Retador.” The victor then faces off against the “Campeón” in a thrilling, final battle in which the audience determines who will be the ultimate winner.

MIAMI – 26 DE JULIO DEL 2022 – A partir del domingo 14 de agosto, “Domingos en Familia” de Univision estrenará por primera vez en la televisión en español de Estados Unidos el exitoso reality internacional “El Retador”, presentado por la carismática actriz y comediante Consuelo Duval, este nuevo reality show deleitará a toda la familia con talentos extraordinarios, actuaciones emocionantes y mucho entretenimiento.
Creado por el productor de “Pequeños gigantes” Rubén Galindo, “El Retador” reunirá a talentosas personas de todas las edades y de toda América Latina y Estados Unidos para competir con los “Campeones”, artistas consagrados en tres disciplinas diferentes, baile, canto e imitación, para tener la oportunidad de ganar un premio en efectivo que se acumula semana tras semana. En esta competencia, participan como “Campeones”: el actor y comediante mexicano Arath de la Torre, la cantante y actriz mexicana Dulce, el actor de televisión y cantante cubano Adrián di Monte, y la actriz de televisión, conductora y bailarina argentina Pía Sanz.
En cada episodio, dos candidatos mostrarán su talento ante un panel de jueces de renombre y competirán para ganar el título de “El Retador”. El ganador se enfrentará al “Campeón” en una emocionante competencia final, que definirá su destino en el programa. Dependerá de la audiencia determinar quién será el gran ganador.
