MIAMI – JULY 12, 2022 – Univision’s “Premios Juventud” (PJ/Youth Awards), summer’s hottest bash, expanded its already impressive 2022 performers roster with a diverse group of superstars joining its awaited 19th edition and announced new recipients for its prestigious “Agent of Change” recognition. “Premios Juventud” will air LIVE from Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot on Thursday, July 21, starting with the popular pre-show “Noche de Estrellas” at 7 p.m. ET on Univision.
Filled with show-stopping performances by top Latin artists, this year’s edition will feature a heartfelt tribute to the late Jenni Rivera by Mexican regional stars Banda MS and Grupo Firme on the 10th anniversary of her passing. Natti Natasha, the chart-topping Latin powerhouse, will take the stage in a vibrant performance featuring a surprise guest. The night will continue to deliver top moments including the world premiere of reggaeton heavyweight Farruko and Dominican sensation DJ Adoni’s collaboration “La Opinión Es Tuya” featuring El Alfa, and La Perversa. Urban stars Feid, Tainy, and Lenny Tavárez will join iconic reggaeton duo Wisin y Yandel in a can’t miss number. The newly added performances are:
- Natti Natasha: The chart-topping Latin powerhouse will shake up the stage at PJ with a sizzling and historic performance. Natti Natasha has 5 nominations this year, including Album of the Year.
- DJ Adoni: The Dominican sensation joins Farruko on stage for the anticipated world premiere of their new “La Opinión Es Tuya” with La Perversa, and El Alfa. DJ Adoni is nominated for The Perfect Mix this year.
- Banda MS: The top Regional Mexican music group will make their “Premios Juventud” debut with the TV premiere of their hit “La Casita.” They will also be a part of the tribute to the late Jenni Rivera on her 10th anniversary. Banda MS has 3 nominations including Best Regional Mexican Song.
- Boza: The popular Panamanian singer and songwriter will perform at “Premios Juventud” for the first time, making the TV premiere of his single “Ella Remix” with Lenny Tavárez and Juhn. Boza is nominated for The New Generation – Male, this year.
- Cazzu: Returning to PJ’s stage, the internationally acclaimed Argentine trap artist and singer will take part in Kany Garcia’s musical act, interpreting one of Kany’s greatest hits. Cazzu is nominated for Female Artist – On the Rise.
- Farina: The Colombian artist and one of the most recognized urban singers of today, nominated for Female Artist – On the Rise, joins PJ for the first time to perform her hit song “Fiesta.”
- Farruko: With 8 nominations this year including Album of the Year, the reggaeton superstar is among the most nominated of the night. Farruko will take the stage with DJ Adoni to perform the world premiere of their soon-to-be released song “La Opinión Es Tuya” along with La Perversa, and El Alfa.
- Goyo: The talented soloist, and soulful voice of Colombia’s hip-hop trio ChocQuibTown, will join Kany Garcia’s musical performance and interpret one of Kany’s greatest hits this year. Goyo is nominated in the category of The Most Trendy.
- Juhn: The beloved Puerto Rican Latin trap and reggaeton singer will make his debut on “Premios Juventud” stage with the first TV performance of “Ella Remix” in collaboration with Boza and Lenny Tavárez.
- Kany García: With her unique and unrivaled voice, the award-winning Puerto Rican singer-songwriter will offer fans a special performance alongside Ángela Aguilar, Cazzu, and Goyo, in which she will sing some of her greatest hits “Hoy Ya Me Voy,” and “Para Siempre,” and debut on TV for the first time her PJ nominated hits “Agüita e Coco,” and “DPM” (De Pxta Madre). This year, Kany will be recognized as “Agent of Change” for her commitment and activism in the fight for equality, and has 2 nominations including Tropical Hit.
- La Perversa: The popular Dominican singer, dancer, and influencer will make her “Premios Juventud” debut as she takes the stage with Farruko, DJ Adoni, and El Alfa for an unforgettable performance of the world premiere of “La Opinión Es Tuya.”
- Tainy: The Puerto Rican superstar, songwriter-producer, will take the stage with iconic duo Wisin y Yandel, and stars Feid, and Lenny Tavárez to deliver a performance that will make history. Tainy has 2 nominations including Best Beatmakers.
- Lenny Tavárez: The popular reggaeton, Latin pop, and R&B singer-songwriter returns to PJ’s stage to perform in the TV debut of “Ella Remix” with Boza and Juhn. He will also join Wisin y Yandel in a historic performance along with Feid, and Tainy. Lenny has 2 nominations this year including Viral Track of the Year.
This year, “Premios Juventud” will honor the Jenni Rivera Love Foundation as an “Agent of Change” for their outstanding work in aiding women and children who have been victims of abuse and domestic violence. Jacqie and Johnny Rivera, children of the late singer who continue to honor her legacy, will receive the recognition on behalf of the foundation. The famous influencer Juanpa Zurita will also receive the coveted distinction for leveraging his internet fame to spearhead humanitarian campaigns that help alleviate famine in Somalia and provide recovery efforts in Mexico after the earthquake. The Puerto Rican singer-songwriter Kany García, who has been actively raising awareness of mental health and gender-based violence and inequality, will also be recognized as an “Agent of Change.” They join previously announced honorees Wisin y Yandel.

MIAMI – 12 DE JULIO DE 2022 – “Premios Juventud” (PJ) de Univision, la fiesta más esperada del verano, expande su impresionante lista de artistas con un diverso grupo de superestrellas que se unen a la 19ª edición y anuncia más reconocimientos de “Agente de Cambio”. “Premios Juventud” se transmitirán EN VIVO desde el Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot el jueves 21 de julio, comenzando con el popular pre-show “Noche de Estrellas” a las 7 p.m. hora del este por Univision.
Repleta de deslumbrantes actuaciones por grandes artistas latinos, esta edición contará con un sentido homenaje a Jenni Rivera en el décimo aniversario de su fallecimiento por parte de las estrellas de la música regional mexicana Banda MS y Grupo Firme. Natti Natasha, la potencia mundial de la música latina, presentará en el escenario una vibrante actuación junto a un invitado sorpresa. La noche continuará con más momentos destacados incluyendo el estreno mundial de la canción “La opinión es tuya” de la estrella del reggaetón Farruko y el sensacional DJ Adoni, con la participación de El Alfa y La Perversa. Las estrellas urbanas Feid, Tainy y Lenny Tavárez se unirán al icónico dúo de reggaetón Wisin y Yandel en un imperdible número musical. Las nuevas presentaciones son:
- Natti Natasha: La potencia mundial de la música latina que encabeza las listas de éxitos tomará el escenario de PJ para una actuación histórica. Natti Natasha tiene 5 nominaciones este año, incluyendo a Álbum del año.
- DJ Adoni: La sensación dominicana se une a Farruko, La Perversa y El Alfa en el escenario de PJ para el esperado estreno mundial de “La opinión es tuya”. DJ Adoni está nominado a La mezcla perfecta este año.
- Banda MS: La principal agrupación de música regional mexicana llevará a cabo su debut en“Premios Juventud” con el estreno en televisión de su éxito “La casita”. También será parte del homenaje a Jenni Rivera en el décimo aniversario de su muerte. Banda MS tiene 3 nominaciones, incluyendo a Mejor canción regional mexicana.
- Boza: El popular cantante y compositor panameño se presentará por primera vez en “Premios Juventud” con el estreno televisivo de su sencillo “Ella remix” junto a Lenny Tavárez y Juhn. Este año Boza está nominado al premio La nueva generación: masculino.
- Cazzu: Volviendo al escenario de PJ, la artista y cantante argentina de trap de renombre internacional participará en el acto musical de Kany García interpretando uno de los grandes éxitos de Kany. Cazzu está nominada a Artista femenina: en ascenso.
- Farina: La artista colombiana y una de las cantantes urbanas más reconocidas de la actualidad, nominada a Artista femenina: en ascenso, se presenta por primera vez en PJ para interpretar su exitosa canción “Fiesta”.
- Farruko: Con 8 nominaciones este año, incluida a Álbum del año, la superestrella del reggaetón se encuentra entre las más nominadas de la noche. Farruko se subirá al escenario para el estreno mundial de su canción “La opinión es tuya” junto a DJ Adoni y con la participación de La Perversa y El Alfa.
- Goyo: La talentosa solista y vibrante voz del trío de hip-hop colombiano ChocQuibTown se unirá a la actuación musical de Kany García e interpretará uno de los mayores éxitos de Kany este año. Goyo está nominada en la categoría de Lo más trendy.
- Juhn: El popular cantante puertorriqueño de trap latino y reggaetón hará su debut en el escenario de “Premios Juventud” con la primera presentación televisiva de “Ella remix” en colaboración con Boza y Lenny Tavárez.
- Kany García: Con su voz única e inigualable, la galardonada cantautora puertorriqueña ofrecerá a sus fans una actuación especial junto a Ángela Aguilar, Cazzu y Goyo, en la que interpretará algunos de sus grandes éxitos “Hoy ya me voy” y “Para siempre” y estrenará en televisión por primera vez sus éxitos nominados a PJ “Agüita e coco” y “DPM” (De pxta madre). Este año, Kany será reconocida como “Agente de Cambio”, por su compromiso y activismo en la lucha por la igualdad, y cuenta con 2 nominaciones incluyendo Éxito tropical.
- La Perversa: La popular cantante, bailarina e influencer dominicana hará su debut en “Premios Juventud” cuando suba al escenario con Farruko, DJ Adoni y El Alfa para una actuación inolvidable del estreno mundial de “La opinión es tuya”.
- Tainy: La super estrella puertorriqueña, compositor y productor, subirá al escenario con el icónico dúo Wisin y Yandel y las estrellas Feid y Lenny Tavárez para ofrecer una actuación que hará historia. Tainy tiene 2 nominaciones incluyendo a Mejor creador de ritmos.
- Lenny Tavárez: El popular cantautor de reggaetón, pop latino y R&B regresa al escenario de PJ con el debut televisivo de “Ella remix” junto a Boza y Juhn. También se unirá a Wisin y Yandel en una actuación histórica junto a Feid y Tainy. Lenny tiene 2 nominaciones este año, incluyendo a Canción viral del año.
Este año, “Premios Juventud” reconocerá a la fundación “Jenni Rivera Love Foundation” como “Agente de Cambio” por su destacada labor en ayudar a mujeres y niños que han sido víctimas de abuso y violencia doméstica. Jacqie y Johnny Rivera, hijos de la fallecida cantante que siguen honrando su legado, recibirán el reconocimiento de parte de la fundación. El famoso influencer Juanpa Zurita también recibirá la codiciada distinción por usar su fama en Internet para encabezar campañas humanitarias que ayudan a aliviar la hambruna en Somalia y brindar esfuerzos de recuperación en México después del terremoto.
