UniMás Outperformed Telemundo to be No. 2 S-L Network for the Entire Night on Sunday Among P2+ and A18-49

Epic Series Finale of “La Tierra Prometida” Reached 2.3 Million Total Viewers 2+

UniMás Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of May 21, 2018 to May 27, 2018

Last week, UniMás averaged 604,000 Total Viewers 2+, 253,000 Adults 18-49 and 108,000 Adults 18-34 during primetime.

Marking the highest-rated telecast in its full-run on UniMás with Total Viewers 2+, the two-hour finale of epic series “La Tierra Prometida” from 9pm to 11pm on Monday May 21, 2018:

  • Reached 2.3 million Total Viewers 2+ that tuned in to all or part of the finale broadcast.
  • Attracted 1.5 million Total Viewers 2+, 571,000 Adults 18-49 and 249,000 Adults 18-34.
  • Increased its audience in the last hour compared to the first hour by double-digit margins among Adults 18-49 (+12%) and Adults 18-34 (+16%) as well as by +4% with Total Viewers 2+.
  • Double-digit audience growth versus its 8pm premiere (09/11/2017) on the UniMás network as well as versus the finale of its 9pm predecessor, “Totalmente Diva” (11/28/2017) among Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.
  • Grew the Monday to Friday 9pm hour by strong margins among Total Viewers 2+ (+94%), Adults 18-49 (+54%) and Adults 18-34 (+49%) versus comparable nights.

In its full-run, UniMás’ “La Tierra Prometida” averaged 1.1 million Total Viewers 2+, 428,000 Adults 18-49 and 164,000 Adults 18-34. Additionally, it delivered two times more Total Viewers 2+ (+102%), nearly two times more Adults 18-34 (+92%) as well as +76% more Adults 18-49 to the Monday through Friday 9pm hour compared to “Totalmente Diva.”

The one-hour premiere of epic series “Sansón y Dalila” on May 22, 2018 from 9pm to 10pm on UniMás:

  • Averaged 903,000 Total Viewers 2+, 321,000 Adults 18-49 and 133,000 Adults 18-34.
  • Increased its audience in the second half hour compared to the first half hour by double-digit margins among Total Viewers 2+ (+10%), Adults 18-49 (+30%) and Adults 18-34 (+25%).
  • Double-digit audience growth versus the premiere of its 9pm predecessor, “La Candidata” (05/29/2017) among Total Viewers 2+ (+54%), Adults 18-49 (+24%) and Adults 18-34 (+34%).
  • In its first three airings, “Sansón y Dalila” averaged 828,000 Total Viewers 2+, 274,000 Adults 18-49 and 107,000 Adults 18-34.

UniMás adventure reality competition “Reto 4 Elementos: Naturaleza Extrema,” airing from Tuesday to Thursday this past week in the 10pm to 12 midnight block averaged nearly half-a-million Total Viewers 2+ (497,000), 260,000 Adults 18-49 and 112,000 Adults 18-34.

For the third consecutive week, UniMás out-delivered the CW network by double-digit margins during the weeknight 9pm hour among Total Viewers 2+ (+46% adv.; 856,000 vs. 587,000), Adults 18-49 (+31% adv.; 299,000 vs. 228,000) and Adults 18-34 (+39% adv.; 122,000 vs. 88,000).

With a Sunday night lineup that included “Cine de las Estrellas: Absolution” and “Cine de las Estrellas: The Last Stand,” UniMás attracted more Total Viewers 2+ (+22% to 697,000), Adult 18-49 (+33% to 338,000) and Adult 18-34 (+48% to 152,000) versus comparable night in 2017 as well as outperforming Telemundo for the entire night across all three key demographic groups.

UniMás attracted two times more Adults 18-34 (+108% adv.) as well as significantly more Total Viewers 2+ (+53% adv.) and Adults 18-49 (+68% adv.) than the combined audience of Azteca and Estrella TV during primetime.

In the current 2017/2018 Season, UniMás is delivering more Total Viewers 2+ (+4% to 729,000) versus comparable weeks in the 2016/2017 Season in primetime.
