UniMás Adventure Reality Competition, “Reto 4 Elementos: Naturaleza Extrema” Delivered Consecutive Weekly Audience Growth in the Last Five Weeks Among Adults 18-49

UniMás Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of April 16, 2018 to April 22, 2018

Last week, UniMás averaged 607,000 Total Viewers 2+, 262,000 Adults 18-49 and 97,000 Adults 18-34 during primetime.

UniMás Adventure Reality Competition “Reto 4 Elementos: Naturaleza Extrema” in the Monday to Thursday 10pm to 12am block.

  • Delivered consecutive weekly audience growth in the last five weeks among Adults 18-49.
  • Reported week-to-week audience growth among Total Viewers 2+ (+8% to 415,000), Adults 18-49 (+1% to 219,000) and Adults 18-34 (+8% to 86,000).
  • Increased the network’s time-period by double-digit margins among Total Viewers 2+ (+12%), Adults 18-49 (+12%) and Adults 18-34 (+19%) versus prior four-week performance.

UniMás’ primetime variety lineup, consisting of “Los Mosqueteros” (Monday), “Drug Wars” (Tuesday), “El Chavo” (Wednesday), “El Principe” (Thursday) and “Nosotros Los Guapos” (Friday), delivered on average 275,000 Total Viewers 2+, 123,00 Adults 18-49 and 43,000 Adults 18-34 during the Monday to Friday 8pm to 9pm hour last week.

“La Tierra Prometida,” airing Monday to Friday 9pm to 10pm, attracted more Total Viewers 2+ (+126% to 1.2 million), Adults 18-49 (+65% to 412,000) and Adults 18-34 (+63% to 163,000) to the time-period versus same week in 2017 while also increasing its week-to-week audience among Adults 18-34 (+11%).

UniMás also out-delivered the CW network by double-digit margins during the Monday to Friday 9pm hour among Total Viewers 2+ (+17% adv.; 1.2 million vs. 1 million).

With a Saturday night lineup that included Liga MX “Monterrey vs. Lobos BUAP” and “Necaxa vs. Tigres UANL,” UniMás drew in more Total Viewers 2+ (+6% to 559,000), Adults 18-49 (+32% to 302,000) and Adults 18-34 (+15% to 108,000) versus the prior Saturday. UniMás also ranked as the No. 2 Spanish-language network on Saturday night, outperforming Telemundo among Adults 18-49 (+6% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+15% adv.).

UniMás attracted significantly more Total Viewers 2+ (+64% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+83% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+96% adv.) than the combined audience of Azteca and Estrella TV during primetime.

In the current 2017/2018 season, UniMás is delivering more Total Viewers 2+ (+11% to 731,000) in primetime versus comparable weeks in the 2016/2017 season.
