For the Third Consecutive Week, UniMás Ranked as the No. 2 Spanish-Language Network During the Weeknight 9 p.m. Hour, Outperforming Telemundo Among Total Viewers 2+

Season-To-Date, UniMás has Double-Digit, Year-Over-Year Audience Gains Among Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34

Last week, UniMás increased its week-to-week audience among Total Viewers 2+ (+4% to 772,000), Adults 18-49 (+2% to 339,000) and Adults 18-34 (+6% to 148,000) in primetime while also increasing its audience from the same week in 2017 with Total Viewers 2+ (+12%) and Adults 18-34 (+11%).

In the first week of Q1 2018, UniMás’ 8pm series, “La Niña,” reported and average audience of 496,000 among Total Viewers 2+, 189,000 Adults 18-49 and 82,000 Adults 18-34.

UniMás’ 9pm weeknight epic drama “La Tierra Prometida”:

  • Averaged 1.2 Million Total Viewers 2+, 449,000 among Adults 18-49 and 180,000 among Adults 18-34 last week
  • Outperformed Telemundo’s “Sangre De Mi Tierra” in the 9pm hour, for the week, among Total Viewers 2+ (+14%, 1,222,000 vs. 1,101,000).

Compared to the same week in 2017, UniMás’ 10pm series “Lady, La Vendedora de Rosas” attracted more Total Viewers 2+ (+87% to 524,000), Adults 18-49 (+43% to 238,000) and Adults 18-34 (+54% to 94,000) to the weeknight 10pm hour.

Monday through Friday, UniMás, on average, out-delivered CW during primetime among Total Viewers 2+ (+4% adv., 783,000 vs. 751,000) Adults 18-49 (+31% adv., 329,000 vs. 252,000) and Adults 18-34 (+27% adv., 135,000 vs. 106,000).

Driven by its back-to-back movie lineup that included “Cine de las Estrellas Sun: Rio 2” and “Cine de las Estrellas Sun 2: Parental Guidance,” UniMás increased its week-to-week audience by double digits on Sunday night among Total Viewers 2+ (+37% to 844,000), Adults 18-49 (+40% to 421,000) and Adults 18-34 (+58% to 201,000) outperforming Telemundo by 4% among Adults 18-34.

UniMás, delivered on average, more viewers during broadcast prime than the combined audience of Azteca and Estrella TV among Total Viewers 2+ (+140% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+163% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+208% adv.).

Experiencing double-digit audience growth over the 2016-17 season-to-date, UniMás averaged 698,000 Total Viewers 2+ (+34%), 301,000 Adults 18-49 (+18%) and 119,000 Adults 18-34 (+18%) 2017-2018 season-to-date during broadcast prime.
