UniMás Ranked as the No. 2 Spanish-Language Network During the Weeknight 9pm Hour Last Week, Outperforming Telemundo Among Total Viewers 2+ and Adults 18-49

UniMás Out-Delivered Telemundo on Sunday Night with Double-Digit Audience Advantages Among Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34

For 13 Consecutive Weeks, UniMás Delivered Year-Over-Year Audience Growth in Primetime Among Total Viewers 2+

UniMás Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of December 18, 2017 to December 24, 2017

Last week, UniMás averaged 683,000 Total Viewers 2+, 283,000 Adults 18-49 and 108,000 Adults 18-34 in primetime, increasing its Total Viewers 2+ audience by +19% versus the same week in 2016.

UniMás’ weeknight epic drama, airing at 9pm, “La Tierra Prometida”:

  • Averaged 1.2 Million Total Viewers 2+, 437,000 Adults 18-49 and 156,000 Adults 18-34 last week
  • Delivered year-over-year audience growth to the network’s time-period among Total Viewers 2+ (+195%), Adults 18-49 (+121%) and Adults 18-34 (+144%).
  • Outperformed Telemundo head-to-head in the 9pm hour on Monday through Friday last week among Total Viewers 2+ (+18% adv.) and Adults 18-49 (+5% adv.).

UniMás’ 10pm series, “Lady, La Vendedora Rosas,” reported week-to-week audience gains among Total Viewers 2+ (+6% to 551,000) while it also attracted more Total Viewers 2+ (+123%), Adults 18-49 (+86%) and Adults 18-34 (+108%) to the weeknight 10pm hour compared to the same week in 2016.

Monday through Friday, UniMás, on average, out-delivered CW during primetime among Adults 18-49 (+12% adv., 291,000 vs. 259,000) and Adults 18-34 (+22% adv., 105,000 vs. 86,000).

Driven by its back-to-back movie lineup that included “Cine De Las Estrellas Sun: Life of Pi” and “Cine De Las Estrellas Sun 2: Secret Life of Walter Mitty,” UniMás ranked as the No. 2 Spanish-Language network on Sunday night, outperforming Telemundo by +19% among Total Viewers 2+ (501,000 vs. 421,000), +20% among Adults 18-49 (226,000 vs. 188,000) and +15% among Adults 18-34 (108,000 vs. 94,000).

UniMás, delivered on average, more viewers during broadcast prime than the combined audience of Azteca and Estrella TV among Total Viewers 2+ (+99% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+95% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+77% adv.).
