US-based Hispanic media firm Univision Communications Inc. (UCI) has promoted Liz Sanderson to the role of Senior Vice President, Strategy & Insights, leading the team in a newly formed Research, Insights & Analytics division.
The company operates the most-watched Spanish-language broadcast television network in the US, including sixteen broadcast, cable and digital networks, 61 TV stations, and content creation facilities in Miami, New York and Los Angeles. Sanderson (pictured) joined UCI in 2010 and has since been part of a team that leads the company’s insights strategy in the CPG, retail and shopper marketing categories. Her previous role included quantifying and qualifying the Hispanic opportunity, competitive benchmarking, assisting in strategic ideation, and using a variety of measurement tools to help marketers reach and engage US Hispanic consumers and shoppers. Earlier in her career, she spent seventeen years at P&G, latterly as VP Marketing Prestige Products.
In her new role, Sanderson joins a team led by the recently promoted Roberto Ruiz, Executive Vice President of the Research Insights & Analytics group.
