UniMás Increased its Primetime Audience Year-Over-Year for the Second Straight Week Among Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34

All Three of UniMás’ Weeknight Series Delivered Week-To-Week Audience Gains with both Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34

Week of October 2, 2017 to October 8, 2017

  • Last week, UniMás delivered 557,000 Total Viewers 2+, 235,000 Adults 18-49, and 90,000 Adults 18-34 during primetime.
  • UniMás reported double-digit audience growth in primetime from the comparable week in 2016 among Total Viewers 2+ (+23%), Adults 18-49 (+14%), and Adults 18-34 (+14%).
  • Airing weeknights at 8pm, UniMás “La Tierra Prometida” averaged 760,000 Total Viewers 2+ with week-to-week audience gains among both Adults 18-49 (+8% to 277,000) and Adults 18-34 (+6% to 112,000).
  • UniMás weeknight 9pm dramatic series, “Totalmente Diva” achieved its highest-rated weekly performance this past week with 638,000 Total Viewers 2+, 273,000 Adults 18-49, and 97,000 Adults 18-34 while also increased its audience from the prior week by +15% and +7% in the respective 18 to 49 and 18 to 34 demographics.
  • In its second week, UniMás “Lady, La Vendedora De Rosas” delivered double-digit week-to-week audience growth among Total Viewers 2+ (+10% to 407,000), Adults 18-49 (+15% to 168,000), and Adults 18-34 (+27% to 83,000). It also attracted more Total Viewers 2+ (+47%), Adults 18-49 (+37%), and Adults 18-34 (+98%) to the network’s Monday through Friday 10pm hour from the comparable week in 2016.
  • On Saturday night, UniMás “Cine Cantinflas: El Circo” outperformed Telemundo’s movie airing of “Cine Millonario: Enemies Closer” (7:00pm to 8:30pm) among Total Viewers 2+ (584,000 vs. 516,000; +13% adv.) and Adults 18-49 (270,000 vs. 228,000; +18% adv.). It also drew in more Adult 18-49 (+15%) viewers to the network’s 7:00pm to 9:00pm time slot compared to the same Saturday in 2016.
  • Featuring the action films of “Black Cobra” and “The Heavy,” UniMás significantly boosted its ratings during the Saturday 9:00pm to 10:30pm (+16% to 253,0000) and 10:30pm to 12:30am (+15% to 182,000) time slots, respectively from that of a year ago in the key 18 to 49 demographic.
  • UniMás attracted more viewers in primetime than the combined audience of Azteca and Estrella TV among Total Viewers 2+ (+68% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+73% adv.), and Adults 18-34 (+67% adv.).
