UniMás Out-Delivers Telemundo in the Monday through Friday 8 to 9 p.m. Hour for the Sixth Consecutive Week Among Total Viewers 2+ and Adults 18-49, and Third Consecutive Week Among Adults 18-34

Week of June 5, 2017 to June 11, 2017

UniMás enjoyed week-to-week audience gains among Total Viewers 2+ (+7% to 764,000), Adults 18-49 (+6% to 366,000) and Adults 18-34 (+2% to 140,000) for the entire week during prime.

UniMás ranked as the No. 2 Spanish-language network during the Monday through Friday 8 to 9 p.m. hour, out-delivering Telemundo, for the sixth consecutive week among Total Viewers 2+ (+28% adv., 1.2 Million vs. 911,000) and Adults 18-49 (+32% adv., 512,000 vs. 387,000), and third consecutive week among  Adults 18-34 (+25% adv., 192,000 vs. 154,000).

  • “Moisés y Los Diez Mandamientos” grew week-to-week among Total Viewers 2+ (+6% to 1.2 Million), Adults 18-49 (+4% to 522,000) and Adults 18-34 (+11% to 188,000).

On Thursday night, UniMás aired back-to-back World Cup qualifying soccer matches, “USA vs. Trinidad & Tobago” (7:39-9:52pm) and “Mexico vs. Honduras” (9:52pm-12:00am), which positioned the network as the No. 1 Spanish-language network on this night with 864,000 Adults 18-49 and 377,000 Adults 18-34 and as the No. 2 Spanish-Language network, out-delivering Telemundo among Total Viewers 2+ (+51% adv., 1.6 Million vs. 1.0 Million). The network also ranked within the Top 5 broadcast networks on this night among Adults 18-49 (No. 5) and Adults 18-34 (No. 3), while it ranked seventh among Total Viewers 2+.

UniMás’ Saturday night line-up consisting of the feature film “Cine Cantinflas: El Analfabeto” and series “Los Mosqueteros” (The Musketeers), drew in more viewers to the 8 to 11 p.m. time period compared to the previous Saturday among Total Viewers 2+ (+19% to 641,000), Adults 18-49 (+35% to 295,000) and Adults 18-34 (+28% to 111,000).

With a median age of 42 years old, UniMás attracted the youngest audience of any broadcast network while it also averaged more viewers during broadcast prime than the combined audience of Azteca and Estrella TV among Total Viewers 2+ (+150% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+186% adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+169% adv.).
