Winner of Univision’s hit singing competition to receive a recording contract with Universal Music and a new Honda
The 2-hour grand finale, set to air June 15 at 7 p.m. ET/PT (6 p.m. CT), will feature musical performances by Shaila Dúrcal, Natalia Jiménez, Lucero, and a special appearance by Emilio Estefan

WHAT: After weeks of tough competition, Univision’s groundbreaking regional Mexican music competition “La Reina de la Canción” is heading into its final stretch, and only six contestants remain in the Reina House: Lluvia Vega, Carmen Rios, Veronica Rosales, Yohanny Rodriguez, Sandra Padilla and Deyra Barrera. This week, they will be eliminated one by one until the audience decides who should rightfully take her place on the throne and begin her reign as the new “Queen of Song.”
As the struggle for the crown reaches its climax, the competition is white hot, nerves are fraying among the contestants, and tempers are growing short. The women know that the lifelong dream they all share is about to come true for just one of them, and they are ready to go all out to fight for the title, which comes with a recording contract with Universal Music and a brand new fully-loaded 2017 Honda CR-V.
Music will abound during the show’s final episodes. The power and romance of regional Mexican music will be on full display as the finalists perform some of the genre’s most iconic and unforgettable compositions. And, on the final episode, Lucero, the competition’s main judge, will take the stage for a special performance, international recording artists Shaila Dúrcal and Natalia Jiménez will add their unique touch, while world-renowned music, television and film producer Emilio Estefan will have a special appearance.
WHEN: “La Reina de la Canción” is broadcast Monday through Thursday at 8 p.m. ET/PT (7 p.m. Central) on the Univision Network.

QUÉ: Tras varias semanas de reñida competencia, la cautivadora competencia de música regional mexicana de Univision, “La Reina de la Canción”, pasa a su etapa final, y sólo quedan seis concursantes en la Casa Reina: Lluvia Vega, Carmen Rios, Veronica Rosales, Yohanny Rodriguez, Sandra Padilla y Deyra Barrera. Esta semana, se eliminarán una por una hasta que la audiencia decida quién merece ocupar el trono e iniciar su reinado como la nueva “Reina de la Canción”.
Ahora que la batalla por la corona alcanza su punto culminante, la competencia es feroz, el nerviosismo aumenta entre las participantes y los ánimos están cada vez más encendidos. Las mujeres saben que sólo una de ellas cumplirá el sueño de toda la vida que tienen en común y están listas para esforzarse al máximo y luchar por el título, que viene con un contrato artístico con Universal Music y un flamante Honda CR-V totalmente equipado.
Habrá mucha música durante los episodios finales del programa. El poder y romance de la música regional mexicana se desplegará cuando las finalistas interpreten algunas de las composiciones predilectas e inolvidables del género. Y en el episodio final, Lucero, la principal miembro del jurado en la competencia, ofrecerá una actuación especial.
