MIAMI, FL – JUNE 8, 2017 – As we get closer to Univision’s 2017 “Premios Juventud” (Youth Awards, PJ), everyone’s favorite music stars are starting to line up for a night that promises to be this summer’s hottest celebration. Univision’s personalities Alejandra Espinoza and Danilo Carrera, as well as celebrated musicians Jesse & Joy, Chyno and Leslie Grace, will come together for the coveted gig as hosts of the one-of-a-kind annual extravaganza featuring the music and stars that young Latinos love the most, from urban to regional Mexican to pop. PJ 2017 airs on Thursday, July 6, starting with celebrity arrivals at 7 p.m. ET/PT (6 p.m. CT).
Addressing the bicultural young Latino audience and for the first time on Spanish-language TV in the U.S., will be Iggy Azalea, recognized for hits such as “Fancy” and “Black Widow” who will perform her latest hit “Switch.” In addition, DNCE, and its front man Joe Jonas, former member of the Jonas Brothers will perform their new single “Kissing Strangers” a follow up to hits such as “Cake by the Ocean” and “Toothbrush.”
The night also brings top icons and emerging artists performing their hottest hits including Maluma, Bad Bunny, Gente de Zona, De La Ghetto, Wisin, Farruko, Jacob Forever, Ozuna, and Zion y Lennox. In addition, J Balvin will perform the television debut of his new single, “Mi Gente.”
PJ 2017 will feature individual solo performances by former duo Chyno and Nacho, and by regional Mexican sensations Calibre 50 and Ulices Chaidez y sus Plebes.
The PJ 2017 celebration will continue to grow as more artists will be confirmed in the upcoming weeks.

Las personalidades de Univision Alejandra Espinoza y Danilo Carrera, y los famosos cantantes Jesse & Joy, Chyno y Leslie Grace, se reúnen para la codiciada labor de presentar el gran espectáculo anual único en su clase, que contará con la música y estrellas que los jóvenes latinos adoran, desde los géneros de música urbana y regional mexicana hasta pop. PJ 2017 se trasmitirá el jueves, 6 de julio, empezando con la llegada de las celebridades a las 7 p.m. Este/Pacífico (6 p.m. Centro).
Esta será la primera vez que Iggy Azalea se presente en la televisión en español en los Estados Unidos, dirigiéndose a la joven audiencia bicultural latina. La artista reconocida por éxitos como “Fancy” y “Black Widow”, interpretará su más reciente éxito “Switch”. Además, DNCE y su artista principal, Joe Jonas, ex miembro de Jonas Brothers, interpretarán su nuevo sencillo, “Kissing Strangers”, tras éxitos como “Cake by the Ocean” y “Toothbrush”.
