UniMás Out-Delivered Telemundo on Five out of the Past Nine Nights During Primetime Powered by Hit Series “Moisés y Los Diez Mandamientos” (Moses and The Ten Commandments)
NEW YORK – MAY 4, 2017 – Following its highest-rated weekly primetime performance in the current 2016/2017 season, UniMás ranked as the No. 2 Spanish-language network on Tuesday May 2, 2017, out-delivering Telemundo for the entire night among Total Viewers 2+ and Adults 18-49. This marked the second consecutive Tuesday night that UniMás finished ahead of Telemundo as well as outperforming them in primetime on five out of the past nine nights among Total Viewers 2+ and on three of the past nine nights among Adults 18-49.
On Tuesday night, “Moisés y Los Diez Mandamientos” (Moses and The Ten Commandments) drew in 1.2 million Total Viewers 2+ and out-delivered the average of Telemundo’s “El Capo” and “Guerra de Ídolos” head-to-head from 8 to 10 p.m. by double-digit advantages among Total Viewers 2+ (+35 percent), Adults 18-49 (+45 percent) and Adults 18-34 (+26 percent).
Additionally, UniMás increased its overall primetime average by double and triple-digit margins versus the comparable night in 2016 among Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34. This is attributed to the strong performance of “Moisés y Los Diez Mandamientos” as well as significant audience growth in the 10 p.m. hour following the Tuesday, May 2 premiere of its political-themed series “El Bienamado” (The Beloved One).
