Through the alliance, Univision News will publish a weekly selection of recent content from Nieman Lab, translated into Spanish, to provide Spanish-speaking journalists in the US and around the world direct access to the latest news, trends and innovations from the field of digital journalism.

“This new alliance with Nieman Lab gives Univision News the ability to share ideas, research and innovations from Nieman’s team of forward-thinking digital journalists with members of the Spanish-language news media in the United States, Latin America and beyond,” said Jose Zamora, SVP, strategic communications, Univision News.

While Univision’s selection of Nieman Lab content in Spanish will be principally targeted to journalists, it will also be available for all audiences on UnivisionNoticias.com.

Founded in 2008 as a collaborative effort to investigate future models that could support quality journalism in the digital age, Nieman Journalism Lab identifies and promotes innovation in how the news gets reported, shared, consumed and paid for.
