UniMás Registered its Highest-Rated Week Thus Far in the Current Season Among Total Viewers 2+ and Adults 18-49, and Second-Highest Among Adults 18-34

UniMás delivered its highest-rated week thus far in the current 2016/17 season with nearly 1.0 Million Total Viewers 2+ (999,000) Total Viewers 2+ and 443,000 Adults 18-49 and second-highest week with 169,000 Adults 18-34 during broadcast prime.

  • Week-to-week, UniMás registered +41% more Total Viewers 2+, +39% more Adults 18-49 and +34% more Adults 18-34.
  • Year-over-year (04/25/16-05/01/16), the network also reported double-digit audience gains among Total Viewers 2+ (+55%), Adults 18-49 (+30%) and Adults 18-34 (+12%).

In addition, the network posted its highest-rated week in the current 2016/2017 season during weekday prime, while registering double-digit percentage gains over the prior week among Total Viewers 2+ (+41% to 1.2 Million), Adults 18-49 (+37% to 510,000) and Adults 18-34 (+39% to 195,000).

  • UniMás ranked as the No. 2 Spanish-language network with Total Viewers 2+, out-delivering Telemundo, on Monday night (+5% adv.; 1.2 Million vs. 1.1 Million), Tuesday night (+6% adv.; 1.3 Million vs. 1.2 Million) and Wednesday night (+3% adv.; 1,228,000 vs. 1,192,000). Additionally, UniMás beat Telemundo on Tuesday night among Adults 18-49 (+3% adv., 582,000 vs. 566,000), driving the network to finish as the No. 7 broadcast network for the night.
  • Airing in a longer duration (8-10pm), “Moisés y Los Diez Mandamientos” grew week-to-week among Total Viewers 2+ (+1% to 1.2 Million), Adults 18-49 (+2% to 503,000) and Adults 18-34 (+7% to 192,000).

On Saturday night, UniMás’ back-to-back film lineup that included “Cine Cantinflas: ¡A Volar Joven!” followed by “Cineplex: The Three Stooges” outperformed Telemundo in the 8-11pm time-period making it the No. 2 Spanish-language broadcast network on this night among Total Viewers 2+ (+35% adv., 791,000 vs. 586,000), Adults 18-49 (+36% adv., 366,000 vs. 269,000) and Adults 18-34 (+26% adv., 148,000 vs. 117,000).

UniMás, on average, delivered more Total Viewers 2+ (+180%), Adults 18-49 (+193%) and Adults 18-34 (+207%) than the combined audience of Azteca and Estrella TV.
