The series is also outperforming Univision’s previous series in the same timeslot. Compared to the soap opera El Color de la Pasión, La Piloto is attracting 4% more adults aged 18-49, 5% more adults 18-34 and 1% more total viewers.

According to Nielsen, last week La Piloto delivered more total viewers 2+ (+17%), adults 18-49 (+2%), adults 18-34 (+2%) and persons 12-34 (+2%) than Univision’s closest Spanish-language competitor for the time slot.

Produced by Lemon Films for W Studios and Univision, La Piloto tells the story of Yolanda Cadena (Livia Brito), a girl who dreams of becoming a pilot and ends up flying small planes used to move drugs across Mexico, Colombia and Central America.
