UniMás Ranked as the No. 2 Spanish-Language Network, Ahead of Telemundo on Saturday Night Among Total Viewers 2+ and Adults 18-49

UniMás’ “Moisés y los Diez Mandamientos” Out-Delivers Telemundo’s “La Fan” for the Eighth Consecutive Week Among Total Viewers 2+ and Adults 18-49 and Fourth Consecutive Week Among Young Adults 18-34

Week of March 6, 2017 to March 12, 2017

  • Last week, UniMás delivered 764,000 Total Viewers 2+, 357,000 Adults 18-49 and 140,000 Adults 18-34 during broadcast prime.
  • “Moisés y los Diez Mandamientos” achieved its highest-rated weekly performance this past week with 1.6 Million Total Viewers 2+ and 712,000 Adults 18-49, and second-highest with 265,000 young Adults 18-34. Week-to-week the series grew its audience by +3% among Viewers 2+, +9% among Adults 18-49 and by +10% among young Adults 18-34.
    • Head-to-head in the 8pm hour, “Moisés y los Diez Mandamientos” outperformed Telemundo’s novela, “La Fan,” for the eighth consecutive week among Total Viewers 2+ (+57% adv., 1.6 Million vs. 988,000) and Adults 18-49 (+58% adv., 712,000 vs. 451,000) and for the fourth consecutive week among young Adults 18-34 (+34% adv., 265,000 vs. 198,000).
  • 10pm series “Por Siempre Joan Sebastian,” ended its run on UniMás last Tuesday and during its final week it averaged more viewers than its previous week’s performance among Total Viewers 2+ (+69% to 415,000), Adults 18-49 (+62% to 177,000) and young Adults 18-34 (+62% to 78,000.
  • On Saturday night, UniMás’ back-to-back film lineup that included “Cine Cantinflas: El Profe” followed by “Cine de las Estrellas: The Passion of Christ” outperformed Telemundo in the 8-11pm time period making it the No. 2 Spanish-language broadcast network on this night among Total Viewers 2+ (+24% adv., 872,000 vs. 705,000) and Adults 18-49 (+14% adv., 402,000 vs. 353,000).
  • With a median age of 40 years old, UniMás attracted the youngest audience of any broadcast network while it also averaged more viewers during broadcast prime than the combined audience of Azteca and Estrella TV among Total Viewers 2+ (+129% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+148% adv.) and young Adults 18-34 (+180% adv.).
