February Sweep-to-Date, UniMás Up Year-Over-Year Among Total Viewers 2+ and Adults 18-49

UniMás’ “Moisés y los Diez Mandamientos” Out-Delivers Telemundo’s “La Fan” For the Sixth Consecutive Week Among Total Viewers 2+ and Adults 18-49 and Second Consecutive Week Among Young Adults 18-34

Week of February 20, 2017 to February 26, 2017


  • In the February sweep-to-date, UniMás is up year-over-year among Total Viewers (+15%) and Adults 18-49 (+4%).
  • Week-to-week, UniMás registered +2% more Total Viewers 2+ (804,000), while it remained flat with 369,000 Adults 18-49 and 150,000 young Adults 18-34 during broadcast prime.
  • Versus the same week a year ago (02/22/16 – 02/28/16), UniMás attracted +22% more Total Viewers 2+ and +4% more Adults 18-49.
  • UniMás delivered its second-highest rated week thus far in the current season during weekday prime (M-F 8-11pm) with 786,000 Total Viewers 2+ and averaged 342,000 Adults 18-49 and 141,000 young Adults 18-34.
  • “Moisés y los Diez Mandamientos” achieved its highest-rated week thus far since its premiere, while delivering +8% more Total Viewers 2+ (1.5 Million) versus the previous week and drew in 622,000 Adults 18-49 and 241,000 Adults 18-34.
    • Head-to-head in the 8pm hour, “Moisés y los Diez Mandamientos” out-performed Telemundo’s novela, “La Fan,” for the sixth consecutive week among Total Viewers 2+ (+36% adv., 1.5 Million vs. 1.1 Million) and Adults 18-49 (+23% adv., 622,000 vs. 504,000) and for the second consecutive week among young Adults 18-34 (+3% adv., 241,000 vs. 233,000).
  • During its second week, “Por Siempre Joan Sebastian” averaged +7% more Total Viewers 2+ (287,000) compared to its premiere week.
  • On Saturday night, UniMás registered audience gains among Total Viewers 2+ (+1% to 819,000) and Adults 18-49 (+2% to 372,000) over the prior Saturday thanks to its lineup which consisted of back-to-back movies, “Cine Cantinflas: El Barrendero” and “Cineplex: Red.”
  • On Sunday night, UniMás also reported audience gains among Adults 18-49 (+10% to 466,000) and young Adults 18-34 (+36% to 194,000) over the prior Sunday thanks to its lineup which consisted of back-to-back “Cine de las Estrellas” movies featuring the titles “X-Men Origins: Wolverine” followed by “Blood Ties.”
  • With a median age of 40 years old, UniMás attracted the youngest audience of any broadcast network while it also averaged more viewers during broadcast prime than the combined audience of Azteca and Estrella TV among Total Viewers 2+ (+143% adv.), Adults 18-49 (+162% adv.) and young Adults 18-34 (+200% adv.).
