Univision Network’s Primetime Telenovela Lineup Reported Double-Digit Percentage Gains in Every Hour Over the Previous Week with Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and Young Adults 18-34

Airing Monday-Friday, Univision’s prime novela lineup reported double-digit percentage gains in every hour over the previous week with Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and young Adults 18-34.

  • Univision’s 8pm novela, “Despertar Contigo” (Waking Up With You) grew its week-to-week audience, attracting 1.9 Million Total Viewers 2+ (+18%), 834,000 Adults 18-49 (+21%) and 404,000 young Adults 18-34 (+19%).
  • At 9pm “Vino el Amor” (Then Came Love) increased its audience over the prior week, averaging 2.3 million Total Viewers 2+ (+14%), 1.0 Million Adults 18-49 (+16%) and 469,000 young Adults 18-34 (+11%). The 9pm novela helped Univision rank as the No. 4 broadcast network with young Adults 18-34, beating FOX by +2% during the Mon-Fri 9pm hour.
  • Airing at 10pm, “El Color de la Pasión” (The Color of Passion) delivered 2.4 Million Total Viewers 2+ (+17%), 1.1 Million Adults 18-49 (+22%) and 476,000 young Adults 18-34 (+22%) increasing its audience week-to-week. Univision also ranked as the No. 4 broadcast network among young Adults 18-34 during the Mon-Fri 10pm hour, besting CBS (+19%).

Univision increased its audience week-to-week, averaging 1.9 Million Total Viewers 2+ (+12%), 873,000 Adults 18-49 (+17%) and 396,000 young Adults 18-34 (+12%).

Univision out-delivered one or more of the English-language broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX) on four of the seven nights last week among young Adults 18-34.

  • For the third consecutive Monday night, Univision ranked as the No. 2 Broadcast network among young Adults 18-34. Univision attracted more Adults 18-34 viewers than NBC (+2%) and FOX (+33%).
  • On Thursday night Univision out-delivered ABC (+1%) as the No. 4 network with young Adults 18-34.
  • Univision was the No. 3 broadcast network on Friday night with young Adults 18-34, beating both NBC (+14%) and FOX (+88%). Univision also finished the night as the No. 4 broadcast network with Adults 18-49, attracting +19% more viewers than FOX.
  • Kicking off the opening weekend of Liga Mexicana soccer matches on Saturday night, Univision was the No. 3 Broadcast network among Adults 18-49. The back-to-back live soccer matches helped Univision out-deliver CBS (+18%) and FOX (+86%) among Adults 18-49. Univision also ranked No.4 with young Adults 18-34, averaging more viewers than CBS (+66%).
