UniMás Delivered Its Highest-Rated Weekly Primetime Performance in the Current 2016/2017 Season this Past Week Among Both Total Viewers 2+ and Adults 18-49 and Second-Highest Among Young Adults 18-34

UniMás Out-Delivers Telemundo on Saturday Night Among Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and Young Adults 18-34

Week of January 2, 2017 to January 8, 2017

Last week, UniMás delivered 692,000 Total Viewers 2+, 346,000 Adults 18-49 and 133,000 Adults 18-34 during broadcast prime, marking its highest-rated weekly performance in the current 2016/2017 season with both Total Viewers 2+ and Adults 18-49 and second-highest among young Adults 18-34.

UniMás increased its audience week-to-week during broadcast prime among Total Viewers 2+ (+11%), Adults 18-49 (+16%) and young Adults 18-34 (+12%).

Both the 8pm and 9pm weekday dramatic series achieved their highest-rated weekly performances since their respective premieres among Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and young Adults 18-34, while the 10pm series registered its highest week among Adults 18-49.

  • At 8pm, “Moisés y los Diez Mandamientos” enjoyed week-to-week increases of +15% among both Total Viewers 2+ (1,045,000) and Adults 18-49 (476,000) and +7% among young Adults 18-34 (173,000).
  • During the M-F 9pm hour, “La Viuda Negra” posted week-to-week gains among Total Viewers 2+ (+8% to 508,000), Adults 18-49 (+15% to 273,000) and young Adults 18-34 (+17% to 109,000).
  • At 10pm, “Bloque de Búsqueda” also reported week-to-week gains among Total Viewers 2+ (+5% to 280,000), Adults 18-49 (+23% to 166,000) and young Adults 18-34 (+13% to 61,000).

UniMás achieved its highest-rated Saturday night in the current 2016/2017 season, while delivering triple to double-digit percentage growth versus the previous Saturday among Total Viewers 2+ (+93% to 1,108,000), Adults 18-49 (+103% to 528,000) and young Adults 18-34 (+115% to 236,000).

  • On Saturday night, UniMás’ back-to-back film lineup that included “Cine Cantinflas: El Analfabeto” followed by “Cineplex: Quantum of Solace” outperformed Telemundo in the 8pm to 11pm time period making it the No. 2 Spanish-language broadcast network on this night among Total Viewers 2+ (+6% adv.; 1,108,000 vs. 1,044,000), Adults 18-49 (+4% adv.; 528,000 vs. 509,000) and young Adults 18-34 (+16% adv.; 236,000 vs. 204,000).

UniMás, on average, delivered more Total Viewers 2+ (+80%), Adults 18-49 (+100%) and young Adults 18-34 (+102%) than the combined audience of Estrella and Azteca.
