Univision Network Out-Delivered One or More of the English-Language Broadcast Networks on Three Nights Last Week Among Young Adults 18-34

For the week of December 12, Univision out-delivered one or more of the English-language broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX) on three nights among young Adults 18-34.

Univision finished the week as the No. 5 broadcast network among Total Viewers 2+. For the entire week Univision averaged 1.7 Million Total Viewers 2+, 714,000 Adults 18-49 and 331,000 young Adults 18-34.

On Monday night, Univision ranked as the No. 4 Broadcast network among Total Viewers 2+.

  • Univision also out-delivered FOX across key demographics including Total Viewers 2+ (+9%), Adults 18-49 (+41%) and more than double the young Adults 18-34 viewers (+104%).
  • This marks the third consecutive Monday night that Univision attracted more young Adults 18-34 than ABC (+17%).

Univision was the No. 4 Broadcast network for the second consecutive Thursday night, out-delivering both ABC (+35%) and FOX (+98%) by double-digit margins among young Adults 18-34.

  • Univision also held the No. 4 position with Total Viewers 2+, beating FOX by (+4%).
  • Univision averaged more Adults 18-49 viewers than FOX (+26%).

Univision outperformed NBC on Friday night, attracting +5% more young Adults 18-34 viewers than NBC.

Airing Mon-Fri this week…

  • Univision’s 8pm novela, “Despertar Contigo” (Waking Up With You) averaged 1.6 Million Total Viewers 2+, 681,000 Adults 18-49 and 343,000 young Adults 18-34 audience.
  • Following at 9pm “Vino el Amor” (Then Came Love) attracted 2.0 million Total Viewers 2+, 885,000 Adults 18-49 and 421,000 young Adults 18-34.
    • Helped Univision rank above FOX as the No. 4 broadcast network among young Adults 18-34 during the Mon-Fri 9pm hour.
  • Airing at 10pm, “El Color de la Pasión” (The Color of Passion) averaged 2.0 Million Total Viewers 2+, 879,000 Adults 18-49 and 387,000 young Adults 18-34.
    • Solidified Univision as the No. 3 broadcast network among young Adults 18-34 during the Mon-Fri 10pm hour, besting ABC (+32%) and NBC (+8%).

On Sunday night Univision aired the third edition of “Premios Univision Deportes” and reached 4.7 Million Total Viewers 2+ who tuned into all or part of the broadcast.

  • Delivered record ratings and attracted 1.6 Million Total Viewers 2+, 652,000 Adults 18-49 and 292,000 young Adults 18-34.
  • Grew its Adults 18-49 audience over the prior year by +14%.
  • Ranked as the No. 9 program on all of broadcast television among Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and young Adults 18-34.
  • Following at 10pm “Aquí y Ahora” (Here and Now) attracted 1.2 Million Total Viewers 2+, 520,000 Adults 18-49 and 188,000 young Adults 18-34.
