For the week of December 5th, Univision out-delivered one or more of the English-language broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX) on five nights among young Adults 18-34.

Univision finished the week as the No. 5 broadcast network among Total Viewers 2+ and Adults 18-49.  For the entire week Univision averaged 1.8 Million Total Viewers 2+, 792,000 Adults 18-49 and 369,000 young Adults 18-34.

For the second consecutive Monday night, Univision attracted more young Adults 18-34 than ABC (+9%).

Airing its back-to-back novela lineup on Tuesday night, Univision ranked as the No. 4 network among Total Viewers 2+.  This marks the second consecutive Tuesday night that Univision out-delivered FOX (+25%).

On Wednesday night Univision averaged more young Adults 18-34 than ABC (+1%).

Univision was the No. 4 Broadcast network on Thursday night, out-delivering both ABC (+34%) and FOX (+11%) by double-digit margins among young Adults 18-34.

Univision clinched the No. 1 rank on Friday night, averaging more young Adults 18-34 than any other broadcast network. Univision’s 9pm novela “Vino el Amor” ranked as the No. 1 program for the night among young Adults 18-34. In fact, Univision’s entire prime novela lineup ranked among the top 10 programs for the night with young Adults 18-34.

Airing Mon-Fri this week…

  • Univision’s 8pm novela, “Despertar Contigo” (Waking Up With You) increased its week-to-week viewership with Total Viewers 2+ (+5% to 1.7 Million), Adults 18-49 (+2% to 747,000) and attracted slightly more young Adults 18-34 audience (to 381,000) versus the previous week.
  • Following at 9pm “Vino el Amor” (Then Came Love) attracted 2.2 million Total Viewers 2+, 983,000 Adults 18-49 and 469,000 young Adults 18-34.
  • Helped Univision rank above ABC (+17%) as the No. 4 broadcast network during the Mon-Fri 9pm hour.
  • Airing at 10pm, “El Color de la Pasión” (The Color of Passion) averaged 2.0 Million Total Viewers 2+ (+14% to 2.1 Million), 893,000 Adults 18-49 and 394,000 young Adults 18-34.
  • Solidified Univision as the No. 4 broadcast network during the Mon-Fri 10pm hour, besting ABC by (+37%).

Univision captured the No. 4 rank on Sunday night, outperforming CBS by +7% among young Adults 18-34.

At 7pm “Sal y Pimienta” attracted 1.5 Million Total Viewers 2+, 597,000 Adults 18-49 and 252,000 young Adults 18-34.

Following at 8pm Univision aired the two-hour season finale of “La Banda 2.”

  • Built on its lead-in and delivered 1.9 million Total Viewers 2+, 875,000 Adults 18-49 and 406,000 young Adults 18-34.
  • Reached 4.9 million Total Viewers 2+ who tuned in to all or part of the two-hour finale broadcast.
  • Outperformed the first-run episodes of CBS’ “Madam Secretary” and “Elementary” among both Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49.
  • Ranked within the top 15 programs on all of broadcast television among Adults 18-49 (#14) and young Adults 18-34 (#13). The telecast also ranked among the top 20 programs with Total Viewers 2+ (#16).

Finishing at 10pm “Aquí y Ahora” (Here and Now) attracted 1.5 Million Total Viewers 2+, 708,000 Adults 18-49 and 245,000 young Adults 18-34.
