Univision Ranked as the No. 5 Broadcast Network Among Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and Young Adults 18-34

For the week of November 21, Univision out-delivered one or more of the English-language broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX) on four nights among young Adults 18-34.
Univision finished the week as the No. 5 broadcast network among Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and young Adults 18-34. For the entire week Univision averaged 1.7 Million Total Viewers 2+, 796,000 Adults 18-49 and increased its young Adults 18-34 by +4% (to 390,000) over the prior week.
Airing its back-to-back novela lineup, Univision out-delivered FOX by +5% on Tuesday night among young Adults 18-34.
On Thanksgiving day Univision out-delivered ABC by +6%, to rank as the No. 4 Broadcast Network with young Adults 18-34. Furthermore, Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 15 programs for the night among Total Viewers 2+, Adults 1 8-49 and young Adults 18-34.
- At 8pm Univision aired the 2.5 hour special, “Vicente Fernandez – Un Azteca En El Azteca.” The telecast attracted 1.3 Million, 632,000 Adults 18-49 and 348,000 young Adults 18-34.
- Following at 10:30pm Univision featured the first leg of the Liga Mexicana Quarterfinal round between América and Guadalajara. The live match attracted 2.6 million Total Viewers 2+, 1.4 million Adults 18-49 and 826,000 young Adults 18-34 making it the most watched first leg of a Quarterfinal round on any network.
Airing its novela lineup, Univision was the No. 3 broadcast network for the second consecutive Friday, out-delivering FOX (+33%) and CBS (+9%) with young Adults 18-34.
Airing Mon-Wed, Fri this week…
- Univision’s 8pm novela, “Despertar Contigo” (Waking Up With You) averaged 1.5 million Total Viewers 2+, 654,000 Adults 18-49 and increased its young Adults 18-34 audience (+8% to 352,000) versus the previous week.
- Following at 9pm “Vino el Amor” (Then Came Love) averaged 2.0 million Total Viewers 2+, 859,000 Adults 18-49 and 411,000 young Adults 18-34.
- Airing at 10pm, “El Color de la Pasión” (The Color of Passion) averaged 1.8 Million Total Viewers 2+, 818,000 Adults 18-49 and increased its audience week-to-week with young Adults 18-34 (+3% to 370,000).
On Sunday night Univision captured the No. 3 rank among Adults 18-49 and young Adults 18-34. Univision also ranked No. 4 with Total Viewers 2+.
- At 7pm, América and Guadalajara faced off again in a Quarterfinals match. The Liga Mexicana soccer game drew 3.4 Million Total Viewers 2+, 1.8 million Adults 18-49 and 885,000 young Adults 18-34. Among Total Viewers 2+, this marks the largest audience ever – on any network – to watch a Liga Mexicana Quarterfinal round match.
- At 9pm “La Banda” delivered 1.5 million Total Viewers 2+ and increased its week-to-week viewership with Adults 18-49 (+2% to 632,000) and young Adults 18-34 (+11% to 296,000).
