Univision Network’s Presidential Debate Coverage Averaged 2.4 Million Total Viewers

On Sunday…

  • The second “Clinton/Trump Debate” aired 9-11pm and averaged 2.4 million Total Viewers 2+, 1.1 million Adults 18-49 and 481,000 young Adults 18-34. The debate increased its audience in the second hour compared to the first hour among Total Viewers 2+ (+17%), Adults 18-49 (+24%) and young Adults 18-34 (+19%).
  • At 7pm, preceding the debate, “La Banda” averaged 1.3 million Total Viewers 2+, 566,000 Adults 18-49 and 252,000 young Adults 18-34.

For the week of October 3rd, Univision out-delivered one or more of the English-language broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX) on two nights among young Adults 18-34.

Airing Mon-Fri 8pm, “Despertar Contigo” (Waking Up With You) averaged 1.6 million Total Viewers 2+, 671,000 Adults 18-49 and 330,000 young Adults 18-34.

Airing Mon-Fri 9pm, “Tres Veces Ana” (Three Times Ana) averaged 2.1 million Total Viewers 2+, 899,000 Adults 18-49 and 418,000 young Adults 18-34.

Airing Mon-Fri 10pm, “El Color de la Pasión” (The Color of Passion) averaged 1.7 million Total Viewers 2+, 752,000 Adults 18-49 and 345,000 young Adults 18-34.

On Saturday, Univision ranked as the No. 3 network among young Adults 18-34, outperforming NBC and FOX.

  • Airing 6:23-9pm, México vs. Nueva Zelanda averaged 1.6 million Total Viewers 2+, 905,000 Adults 18-49 and 410,000 young Adults 18-34.
  • At 9pm, an encore airing of “Crónicas de Juan Gabriel” averaged 1.1 million Total Viewers 2+, 424,000 Adults 18-49 and 218,000 young Adults 18-34. Next, at 10pm, the final episode in the five-part series averaged 1.6 million Total Viewers 2+, 625,000 Adults 18-49 and 270,000 young Adults 18-34.
