UniMás Beat Telemundo for the Fourth Consecutive Saturday Night with Young Adults 18-34 and Third Consecutive Saturday Night with Adults 18-49

UniMás Reported Season-to-Date Audience Growth with Total Viewers 2+ (+12%) and Adults 18-49 (+3%)

UniMás ranked as the No. 2 Spanish-language network on Saturday night, beating Telemundo by +7% among both Total Viewers 2+ and Adults 18-49 and delivered +18% more young Adults 18-34.  This marks the 3rd consecutive Saturday UniMás out-performed Telemundo among Adults 18-49 and the 4th consecutive with young Adults 18-34.

  • At 7pm, the Cine Cantinflas movie presentation of “El Ministro y Yo” delivered 666,000 Total Viewers 2+, 273,000 Adults 18-49 and 125,000 young Adults 18-34.
  • Following at 9pm, the feature film “The Taking of Pelham 1,2,3” built on its lead-in and delivered 690,000 Total Viewers 2+, 315,000 Adults 18-49 and 139,000 young Adults 18-34. The film out-delivered Telemundo’s movie (“Warrior”, 8-11pm) by +1% among Total Viewers 2+, +8% among Adults 18-49 and +16% among Adults 18-34.

UniMás averaged 470,000 Total Viewers 2+, 220,000 Adults 18-49 and 86,000 young Adults 18-34 for the entire week during prime.

  • Week-to-week, the network registered audience gains among Total Viewers 2+ (+4%) and Adults 18-49 (+6%).

Week-to-week, the 9pm dramatic series “La Ronca de Oro” grew its audience by +7% among Total Viewers 2+ (to 545,000), by +20% among Adults 18-49 (to 248,000) and by +3% among Adults 18-34 (to 81,000).

UniMás’ 10pm dramatic series, “El Príncipe” delivered its highest-rated week since its premiere on 07/19/16, increasing its audience over the previous week by double-digit margins across key demographics including Total Viewers 2+ (+44% to 398,000), Adults 18-49 (+49% to 177,000) and young Adults 18-34 (+44% to 64,000).

UniMás, on average, delivered more Total Viewers 2+ (+24%), Adults 18-49 (+39%) and young Adults 18-34 (+30%) than the combined audience of Estrella, Azteca and MundoMax.

In the current 2015/16 Season, UniMás is over-delivering the same weeks in the 2014/15 Season with Total Viewers 2+ (+12% to 660,000) and Adults 18-49 (+3% to 340,000).
