On Saturday, Univision’s Súper Clásico Telecast Attracted 1.1 Million Adults 18-49, +9% Year-to-Year

Airing Saturday 9:57pm, the Súper Clásico between América and Chivas (simulcast on UDN)…

  • Averaged 1.1 million Adults 18-49, with viewership increasing +9% over the 2015 Apertura Súper Clásico (1.0 million).  Also, it marked the highest rated Liga MX match season-to-date.
  • Helped Univision rank as the No. 3 broadcast network for the evening among young Adults 18-34, outperforming ABC, NBC and FOX.
  • Preceding at 7:55pm, Tigres vs. Veracruz averaged 541,000 Total Viewers 2+, 298,000 Adults 18-49 and 150,000 young Adults 18-34.

For the week of August 22nd, Univision…

  • Out-delivered one or more of the English-language broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX) every night among young Adults 18-34.
  • Saw week-to-week growth among Adults 18-49 (+7%) and young Adults 18-34 (+5%).

Airing Mon-Fri 8pm, “Un Camino Hacia el Destino” (A Path to Destiny) helped Univision rank as the No. 4 network in the hour among young Adults 18-34, outperforming FOX. “Un Camino Hacia el Destino” saw week-to-week growth among Total Viewers 2+ (+6% to 2.0 million), Adults 18-49 (+15% to 833,000) and young Adults 18-34 (+16% to 408,000).

Airing Mon-Fri 9pm, “Tres Veces Ana” (Three Times Ana) saw week-to-week growth among Adults 18-49 (+2% to 863,000).

Airing Mon-Fri 10pm, the premiere week of the ten-episode series “Narcos” averaged 1.0 million Total Viewers 2+, 501,000 Adults 18-49 and 234,000 young Adults 18-34.

On Sunday…

  • Univision ranked as the No. 4 broadcast network for the entire evening among young Adults 18-34, outperforming ABC and NBC.
  • Covering the death of superstar Juan Gabriel, Univision aired special editions of “Aquí y Ahora” (Here and Now) and “Sal y Pimienta” (Salt and Pepper).
    • Airing 7-8pm (live) and 9-10pm, “Aquí y Ahora” averaged 2.1 million Total Viewers 2+, 891,000 Adults 18-49 and 360,000 young Adults 18-34.
    • Airing 8-9pm (live) and 10-11pm, “Sal y Pimienta” averaged 2.1 million Total Viewers 2+, 923,000 Adults 18-49 and 355,000 young Adults 18-34.
