Univision Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of July 25, 2016 to August 1, 2016
- Univision ranked as the No. 3 broadcast network among young Adults 18-34, outperforming both FOX (+26%) and CBS (+9%). Univision also beat FOX (+7%) among Adults 18-49 to rank as the No. 4 broadcast network and held the fifth-largest broadcast network position with Total Viewers 2+.
- Univision finished July Sweeps as the No. 3 broadcast network among young Adults 18-34, beating both FOX (+4%) and CBS (+8%).
- Univision out-delivered one or more of the English-language broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX) on every night among young Adults 18-34.
- Airing Mon-Fri 8pm, “Un Camino Hacia el Destino” (A Path to Destiny) helped Univision rank as the No. 4 network in the hour among young Adults 18-34, beating FOX by +11%. “Un Camino Hacia el Destino” averaged 2.0 million Total Viewers 2+, 789,000 Adults 18-49 and 394,000 young Adults 18-34.
- Airing Mon-Fri 9pm, “Tres Veces Ana” (Three Times Ana) solidified Univision as the No. 3 broadcast network in the hour among young Adults 18-34 and No. 4 network with Adults 18-49. “Tres Veces Ana” attracted 1.9 Million Total Viewers 2+, 859,000 Adults 18-49 and 417,000 young Adults 18-34.
- During the Mon-Fri 10pm hour, Univision maintained its rank as the No. 3 broadcast network in the hour among young Adults 18-34 and No. 4 network with Adults 18-49.
- On Monday night Univision aired the finale of “Por Siempre… Joan Sebastian” and averaged 2.4 million Total Viewers 2+, 1.2 million Adults 18-49 and 522,000 young Adults 18-34. 3.2 Million Total Viewers 2+ tuned-in to or all part of the finale broadcast, helping position Univision as the No. 3 broadcast network for the entire night, ahead of CBS, FOX and CW with both Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34 as well as the No. 5 broadcast network, ahead of CW among Total Viewers 2+.
- On Saturday night Univision ranked as the No. 2 broadcast network among Adults 18-49 and young Adults 18-34, out-delivering ABC and CBS in both demographics.
- At 8pm the live soccer match between Monterrey and Cruz Azul attracted more viewers than the prior week match and delivered 995,000 Total Viewers 2+ (+75%), 516,000 Adults 18-49 (+56%) and 237,000 young Adults 18-34 (+51%).
- The 10pm live soccer match featuring America and Tigres UANL built on its lead-in and attracted 1.2 Million Total Viewers 2+, 686,000 Adults 18-49 and 281,000 young Adults 18-34.
- On Sunday, Univision ranked as the No. 3 broadcast network among young Adults 18-34 and No. 4 network with Adults 18-49, outperforming NBC in both demographics.
- “Aquí y Ahora” (Here and Now) averaged 1.4 million Total Viewers 2+, 627,000 Adults 18-49 and 305,000 young Adults 18-34 from 7pm to 8pm.
- Following at 8pm Va Por Ti (This One’s For You)…
- Averaged 1.8 Million Total Viewers 2+, 704,000 Adults 18-49 and 358,000 young Adults 18-34.
- In the final hour of the night, “Sal y Pimienta” (Salt and Pepper) averaged 1.5 million Total Viewers 2+, 660,000 Adults 18-49 and 334,000 young Adults 18-34.
