July Sweeps to-date, Univision Out-delivers FOX and CBS Among Young Adults 18-34

Univision Ranked as the No. 5 Broadcast Network for the Week Among Young Adults 18-34, Outperforming CBS

Univision Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of July 18, 2016 to July 24, 2016

  • July Sweeps to-date, Univision ranks as the No. 3 Broadcast network among young Adults 18-34, beating both FOX (+3%) and CBS (+4%).
  • Univision ranked as the No. 5 broadcast network among young Adults 18-34, outperforming CBS as well as the fifth-largest broadcast network with Total Viewers 2+.
  • Univision out-delivered one or more of the English-language broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX) on every night among young Adults 18-34.
  • Airing Mon-Fri 8pm, “Un Camino Hacia el Destino” (A Path to Destiny) reported week-to-week audience increases among Adults 18-49 (+4% to 774,000). The 8pm novela averaged 1.9 million Total Viewers 2+ and 363,000 young Adults 18-34.
  • Airing Mon-Fri 9pm, “Tres Veces Ana” (Three Times Ana) grew its audience week-over-week among Total Viewers 2+ (+4% to1.8 Million), Adults 18-49 (+10% to 875,000) and young Adults 18-34 (+5% to 406,000).
  • Airing Mon-Wed, Fri 10pm, “Por Siempre Joan Sebastian” (Forever, Joan Sebastian) attracted 2.0 Million Total Viewers 2+, 1.0 Million Adults 18-49 and 449,000 young Adults 18-34 viewers.
  • On Saturday night, airing back-to-back Liga Mexicana matches, Univision out-delivered CBS among young Adults 18-34 (+9%).
    • At 8pm the live soccer match between Leon and Necaxa averaged 570,000 Total Viewers 2+, 330,000 Adults 18-49 and 157,000 young Adults 18-34.
    • The 10pm live soccer match featuring Guadalajara and Monterrey built on its lead-in and attracted 718,000 Total Viewers 2+, 390,000 Adults 18-49 and 197,000 young Adults 18-34.
  • On Sunday, Univision ranked as the No. 4 broadcast network among young Adults 18-34, outperforming NBC by +6%.
    • “Aquí y Ahora” (Here and Now) averaged 1.4 million Total Viewers 2+, 549,000 Adults 18-49 and 269,000 young Adults 18-34 from 7pm to 8pm.
    • Following at 8pm Va Por Ti (This One’s For You)…
      • Built its Total Viewers 2+ audience over last week’s premiere by 9% (to 1.9 Million) and attracted 760,000 Adults 18-49 and 323,000 young Adults 18-34.
      • Positioned Univision as the No. 3 and No. 4 broadcast network, respectively, among young Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49, beating NBC during the two-hour time period among both demographics.
  • In the final hour of the night, “Sal y Pimienta” (Salt and Pepper) averaged 1.6 million Total Viewers 2+, 587,000 Adults 18-49 and 238,000 young Adults 18-34.
