UDN Outperforms All Cable Sports Networks, Including ESPN, ESPN2, Fox Sports 1 and NBC Sports Network

UDN is first ever Spanish-language sports network to beat all English-language sports networks


NEW YORK – JULY 11, 2016 – Univision Deportes, the multimedia sports division of Univision Communications Inc. (UCI), today announced that UDN (Univision Deportes Network) ranks as the No. 1 cable sports network in primetime among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34, Men 18-49 and Men 18-34 for the month of June.  The four-year old network outperformed ESPN, ESPN2, Fox Sports 1 and NBC Sports Network and continues to be the fastest growing cable sports network, regardless of language, year-over-year in the month of June.  Additionally, UDN continues to rank as the No. 1 Spanish-language cable sports network, outperforming all other Spanish-language competitors for 12 consecutive months.

UDN is currently available in 46.9 million homes throughout the U.S., approximately half of the size of ESPN and ESPN2 and nearly half of the size of Fox Sports 1 and NBC Sports Network, making the No. 1 ranking more notable.
