The youth awards show will air LIVE on the Univision Network on Thursday, July 14, 2016, at 7 p.m. ET/PT (6 p.m. Central)
MIAMI, FL – JUNE 20, 2016 – A standout lineup of today’s most popular music stars are confirming their participation in Univision Network’s most socially-engaged show, “Premios Juventud” (Youth Awards). The 13th annual edition, which brings together the hottest stars in music, TV, film, sports, and social media with nominees and winners selected by fans at PremiosJuventud.com, will air LIVE on the Univision Network on Thursday, July 14, 2016, at 7:00 p.m. ET/PT (6 p.m. Central).
This year’s “throwback” theme, #TBTPJ, will have the audience on their feet with top musical performances. Among the program’s headliners is Colombian urban singer Maluma, a previous PJ winner and this year’s top nominee, vying for eight awards.
Latino super-group CNCO, born as a result of Univision’s “La Banda” competition, is up for six awards and will bring its youthful energy to the show for the first time. Mexican regional superstar and four-time PJ winner Luis Coronel is also in the running for six awards and is set to perform on the PJ stage.
Up for five PJ awards, Mexican pop sensation Anahí is scheduled for her solo appearance. Colombian singer J Balvin, a previous PJ winner, also has five nominations for the evening and will bring his unique urban style to the show.
Fellow urban music artist and Puerto Rican native Farruko, who has three PJ nominations, has also confirmed his participation for the big night. The Principe de la Bachata Prince Royce will be performing for the sixth time on the show where he got his start. Royce has three nominations this year and already has a robust collection of 19 PJ awards.
Two-time PJ winners Jesse & Joy will take the PJ stage and fellow Mexican pop singer Sofía Reyes will be performing this year as well.
Becky G, a PJ pro and award winner, will bring her fusion of pop and rap to the show. And Italian pop star Laura Pausini will give her one-of-a-kind music touch to the special evening as she always has since 2005. Meanwhile, Colombian urban and pop music singer, and first-time nominee, Karol G is set to make her debut appearance on the show.

MIAMI, FL – 20 DE JUNIO DE 2016 – Sigue aumentando la lista de reconocidas estrellas musicales que están confirmando su asistencia a “Premios Juventud” (PJ), el programa de la Cadena Univision que cuenta de mayor participación en las redes sociales. La súper popular 13era edición anual, que reúne a las estrellas más de moda en la música, televisión, deportes y redes sociales, con candidatos y ganadores seleccionados por los fans en PremiosJuventud.com, se trasmitirá EN VIVO por la Cadena Univision el jueves, 14 de julio de 2016 a las 7:00 p.m. Este/Pacífico (6 p.m. Centro).
Este año, el tema “throwback“, #TBTPJ, hará que la audiencia no pare de bailar con las mejores presentaciones musicales. Entre las estrellas del programa está el cantante colombiano de música urbana Maluma, anterior ganador de PJ y candidato favorito de este año, quien compite por ocho premios.
El súper grupo latino CNCO, que surgió como resultado de la competencia “La Banda” de Univision, está nominado para seis premios y traerá su juvenil energía al programa por primera vez. Luis Coronel, la súper estrella de la música regional mexicana y cuatro veces ganador de PJ, también estará compitiendo por seis premios y se presentará en el escenario de PJ.
La sensación mexicana de la música pop Anahí, está nominada a cinco PJ y está programada para participar como solista. El cantante colombiano J Balvin, ya galardonado con PJ, también está nominado en cinco categorías y cantará con su original estilo urbano en el programa.
Farruko, otro artista de música urbana proveniente de Puerto Rico, está nominado en tres categorías de PJ y también ha confirmado su participación en la gran noche. Prince Royce, el Príncipe de la Bachata, se presentará por sexta vez en esta ceremonia donde debutó profesionalmente. Royce tiene tres nominaciones y además cuenta con una robusta colección de 19 PJ.
Jesse & Joy, que ya ganaron PJ dos veces, y su compatriota, la cantante pop mexicana Sofía Reyes, también presentarán un número musical.
Becky G, veterana ganadora de PJ, traerá su fusión de pop y rap al programa. La estrella pop italiana Laura Pausini le dará un toque especial a la velada con su singular música, como lo viene haciendo desde 2005. También Karol G, la cantante colombiana de música urbana y pop que está nominada por primera vez, hará su debut en el programa.
