Season-to-Date, UniMás Grew its Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and Young Adults 18-34 Audience by Double-Digit Percentages
UniMás Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of May 30, 2016 to June 5, 2016
- UniMás ranked as the No. 2 Spanish-language network on Saturday night, beating Telemundo with Total Viewers 2+ (+32%), Adults 18-49 (+43%) and young Adults 18-34 (+26%).
- At 7pm, the Cine Cantinflas movie presentation of “Abajo el Telón” attracted 635,000 Total Viewers 2+, 237,000 Adults 18-49 and 90,000 young Adults 18-34. Airing head-to-head with Telemundo’s “Qué Noche,” UniMás’ movie presentation reported double-digit percentage advantages over Telemundo among Total Viewers 2+ (+39%), Adults 18-49 (+60%) and young Adults 18-34 (+14%).
- Following at 9pm, the feature film “Brawl” built on its lead-in and delivered 668,000 Total Viewers 2+, 302,000 Adults 18-49 and 121,000 young Adults 18-34. The 9pm film out-delivered Telemundo’s movie in the time period by +27% among Total Viewers 2+, +37% among Adults 18-49 and +30% among young Adults 18-34.
- Season-to-date, UniMás ranks as the No. 2 Spanish-language network on Saturday nights with Total Viewers 2+ (+6%), Adults 18-49 (+16%) and young Adults 18-34 (+17%). Furthermore, thus far in 2nd quarter, UniMás has out-ranked Telemundo on 8 out of 10 Saturday nights.
- In the current 2015/16 Season, UniMás is over-delivering the same weeks in the 2014/15 Season with Total Viewers 2+ (+21%), Adults 18-49 (+16%) and young Adults 18-34 (+13%) during broadcast prime.
- Versus the same week a year ago (06/01/15 – 06/07/15), UniMás attracted more Total Viewers 2+ (+31%), Adults 18-49 (+17%) and young Adults 18-34 (+7%).
- UniMás, on average, delivered more Total Viewers 2+ (+81%) and more than double the Adults 18-49 (+117%) and young Adults 18-34 (+121%) viewers than the combined audience of Estrella, Azteca and MundoMax.
