UniMás Beat Telemundo for the Fourteenth Consecutive Saturday Night with Adults 18-49 and Young Adults 18-34

UniMás Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of April 4, 2016 to April 10, 2016

UniMás ranked as the No. 2 Spanish-language network for the fourteenth consecutive Saturday night, beating Telemundo with Adults 18-49 (+52%) and young Adults 18-34 (+41%).  UniMás also out-delivered Telemundo among Total Viewers 2+ (+29%) for the fifth consecutive Saturday night.

  • Season-to-date, UniMás ranks as the No. 2 Spanish-language network on Saturday nights with Total Viewers 2+ (+4%), Adults 18-49 (+14%) and young Adults 18-34 (+12%).
    • UniMás’ Cine Cantinflas film “El Mago,” increased its audience over the prior week’s title “El Extra,” averaging 780,000 Total Viewers 2+ (+8%), 341,000 Adults 18-49 (+10%) and 158,000 young Adults 18-34 (+14%).
    • Following at 9pm, the UniMás feature film presentation “Poseidón” also reported double digit percentage increases over last week’s film “Charlie’s Angel: Full Throttle.” “Poseidón” delivered 804,000 Total Viewers 2+ (+24%), 397,000 Adults 18-49 (+26%) and 183,000 young Adults 18-34(+12%).
    • In fact, UniMás’ back-to-back movie lineup out-delivered Telemundo’s entire primetime lineup including “Qué Noche” and “La Reina del Sur” with Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and young Adults 18-34.

Versus the same week a year ago (04/06/15 – 04/12/15), UniMás attracted more Total Viewers 2+ (+42%) and Adults 18-49 (+39%), young Adults 18-34 (+40%).

In the current 2015/16 Season, UniMás is over-delivering the same weeks in the 2014/15 Season among Total Viewers 2+ (+21%), Adults 18-49 (+13%) and young Adults 18-34 (+6%) during broadcast prime.

UniMás, on average, delivered more among Total Viewers 2+ (+40%), Adults 18-49 (+73%) and young Adults 18-34 (+78%) viewers than the combined audience of Estrella, Azteca and MundoMax.
