Univision Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of March 21, 2016 to March 27, 2016

  • Last week (M-SU), Univision ranked as the No. 5 broadcast network among both young Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49.  Also, Univision out-delivered one or more of the English-language broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX) on four nights among both demographics.
  • On Good Friday …
    • Airing 7-8:29pm, “De Tierra Santa a la Santa Sede” (From the Holy Land to the Holy See), a special news program hosted by Maria Antonieta Collins from the Vatican, averaged 1.4 million Total Viewers 2+, 562,000 Adults 18-49 and 241,000 young Adults 18-34.
    • Next, the Gran Estreno movie “The Passion of the Christ” averaged 2.2 million Total Viewers 2+, 985,000 Adults 18-49 and 415,000 young Adults 18-34.
  • Airing M-F 8pm, “Sueño de Amor” (Dream of Love) averaged 1.6 million Total Viewers 2+, 733,000 Adults 18-49 and 392,000 young Adults 18-34.
  • Airing M-F 9pm, “Pasión y Poder” (Passion and Power) saw week-to-week growth among Total Viewers 2+ (+2% to 2.2 million).
  • Airing M-F 10pm, “El Hotel de los Secretos” (The Hotel of Secrets) averaged 1.9 million Total Viewers 2+, 883,000 Adults 18-49 and 403,000 young Adults 18-34.
  • On Saturday…
    • Airing 7-9pm, a special telecast of “Nuestra Belleza Latina” (Our Latin Beauty) averaged 762,000 Total Viewers 2+, 286,000 Adults 18-49 and 133,000 young Adults 18-34.
    • Next, “Sal y Pimienta” (Salt and Pepper) averaged 843,000 Total Viewers 2+, 351,000 Adults 18-49 and 126,000 young Adults 18-34.
    • Univision’s entire Saturday prime lineup ranked among the top 15 programs for the night with Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and young Adults 18-34.
  • On Sunday, Univision ranked as the No. 3 broadcast network among young Adults 18-34, outperforming CBS and FOX.
    • Airing 7-8pm, “Aquí y Ahora” (Here and Now) saw week-to-week growth among Total Viewers 2+ (+2% to 1.4 million).
    • Airing 8-10:07pm, “Nuestra Belleza Latina” (Our Latin Beauty) saw week-to-week growth among young Adults 18-34 (+7% to 416,000).
    • Finally, “Sal y Pimienta” (Salt and Pepper) saw week-to-week growth among young Adults 18-34 (+28% to 400,000).
    • Univision’s entire Sunday prime lineup ranked among the top 20 programs for the night with Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and young Adults 18-34.
