Live Game to Air on UDN on Saturday, March 26th at 9pm Est/8pm Ct
MIAMI, FL- MARCH 25, 2016- Univision Deportes, the multimedia sports division of Univision Communications Inc. (UCI) that includes UDN, the No. 1 Spanish-language sports network, partnered with Major League Baseball to bring the league’s upcoming Mexico City Series to U.S. viewers. MLB returns to Mexico City after a 12-year hiatus for two Spring Training games between the Houston Astros and the San Diego Padres to be played at Fray Nano stadium and will mark the first-ever MLB game to be aired on Univision Deportes’ UDN.

UDN reporters Antonio Gómez Luna and Gabriela Fernández de Lara will also be reporting onsite for the first MLB game to be aired on the sports network. Francisco Romero, a Spanish-language radio broadcaster for the Houston Astros, José Luis López Salido and Rolando Roque will narrate the game and provide commentary.
The 2015 Rookie of the Year Carlos Correa and three-time All-Star Jose Altuve from the Houston Astros will face the San Diego Padres’, shortstop Alexei Ramirez and outfielder John Jay. The Houston Astros made the Postseason in 2015 for the first time since 2005, defeating the New York Yankees in the Wild Card game before losing to the 2015 World Series Champion Kansas City Royals in the Division Series.
The first game of the MLB Mexico City Series will be played on Saturday, March 26 and will air live on UDN at 9 p.m. EST/8 p.m. CT.

MIAMI, FL – 25 DE MARZO DE 2016 – Univision Deportes, la división deportiva en medios múltiples de Univision Communications Inc. (UCI) que incluye UDN, la principal cadena de deportes en español, se asoció con Major League Baseball (Ligas Mayores de Béisbol o MLB) para ofrecer la próxima Serie de la Ciudad de México de la liga a los televidentes en los Estados Unidos. MLB regresa a Ciudad de México después de una pausa de 12 años para dos partidos de entrenamiento en la primavera entre los Houston Astros y San Diego Padres que se jugará en el estadio Fray Nano y será el primer partido de MLB que se trasmite por UDN de Univision Deportes.

Los Houston Astros llegaron a los juegos post temporada en 2015 por primera vez desde el año 2005, tras vencer a los New York Yankees en un partido Wild Card antes de perder ante el campeón de la Serie Mundial de 2015, los Kansas City Royals, en la Serie de Divisiones.
