San Diego Station Ranks No. 1 In the Market Regardless of Language


NEW YORK – MARCH 23, 2016 – Univision Radio, a part of Univision Local Media, today announced it strong ratings in major markets for the month of February.  Univision Radio’s owned and operated stations are ranked in the top 5 in 8 of its 12 PPM markets, outperforming major radio groups among total listeners regardless of language.  In Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, San Antonio, San Francisco and San Diego, Univision radio stations ranked among the top 5 regardless of language among total listeners.  Additionally, San Diego ranked as the No. 1 station in the market overall.

Univision Radio’s regional Mexican radio show, “El Bueno, La Mala y El Feo” ranked as the No. 1 radio show regardless of language among total Adults 18-49 in both San Diego and Las Vegas and ranked as the No. 2 morning show regardless of language in Dallas.  Additionally, in 8 out of 10 PPM markets where it airs – Chicago, Dallas, Houston, San Francisco, San Antonio, San Diego, Austin and Las Vegas – “El Bueno, La Mala y El Feo” ranked as the No. 1 show among all Spanish-language stations.

Univision Radio’s Houston morning show with Raul Brindis ranked as the No. 1 show in morning drive regardless of language and has remained the highest rated morning show month after month in the market for over 5 years.

In Miami, Univision Radio’s “Mix Morning Show with Enrique Santos” ranked as the No. 2 show regardless of language among total Adults 18-49.
