Week of March 7, 2016 to March 13, 2016

Last week (M-SU), Univision ranked as the No. 5 broadcast network among both young Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49.  Also, among young Adults 18-34, Univision saw week-to-week growth (+5%) and out-delivered one or more of the English-language broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX) on six nights.

On Monday, Univision’s finale of 8pm novela, “Antes Muerta Que Lichita” (I’d Rather be Dead Than Ordinary)…

  • Attracted 2.5 Million Total Viewers 2+, 1.2 million Adults 18-49 and 618,000 young Adults 18-34.
  • Delivered its highest-rated telecast in its full-run among young Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49, as well as the second highest-rated telecast among Total Viewers 2+.

On Wednesday, the Democratic Presidential Debate (“El Debate Demócrata”), moderated by hosts Jorge Ramos, Maria Elena Salinas, and Karen Tumulty…

  • Averaged 2.0 million Total Viewers 2+, 956,000 Adults 18-49 and 424,000 young Adults 18-34.
  • Ranked within the Top 15 most-watched programs on all of broadcast television among both young Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49.
  • Out-delivered CBS’ “The Victoria’s Secret Swim Special” by +12% among young Adults 18-34 and +31% Adults 18-49.

Airing T-F 8pm, the premiere week of “Sueño de Amor” (Dream of Love) averaged 2.0 million Total Viewers 2+, 958,000 Adults 18-49 and 491,000 young Adults 18-34.

Airing M-F 9pm, “Pasión y Poder” (Passion and Power) saw week-to-week growth among Total Viewers 2+ (+8% to 2.3 million), Adults 18-49 (+10% to 1.2 million) and young Adults 18-34 (+11% to 541,000).

Airing M-F 10pm, “El Hotel de los Secretos” (The Hotel of Secrets) saw week-to-week growth among Total Viewers 2+ (+5% to 1.9 million), Adults 18-49 (+3% to 934,000) and young Adults 18-34 (+6% to 408,000).

On Saturday…

  • Airing 8-10pm, “Crónicas de Sábado” averaged 805,000 Total Viewers 2+, 327,000 Adults 18-49 and 142,000 young Adults 18-34.
  • Next, “Sal y Pimienta” (Salt and Pepper) saw week-to-week growth among young Adults 18-34 (+5% to 183,000).
  • Univision’s entire Saturday prime lineup ranked among the top 15 programs for the night with Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and young Adults 18-34.

On Sunday…

  • Airing 7-8pm, “Aquí y Ahora” (Here and Now) averaged 1.2 million Total Viewers 2+, 498,000 Adults 18-49 and 229,000 young Adults 18-34.
  • Airing 8-10:18pm, “Nuestra Belleza Latina” (Our Latin Beauty) averaged 1.8 million Total Viewers 2+, 815,000 Adults 18-49 and 377,000 young Adults 18-34.
  • Finally, “Sal y Pimienta” (Salt and Pepper) averaged 1.6 million Total Viewers 2+, 651,000 Adults 18-49 and 251,000 young Adults 18-34.
  • Univision’s entire Sunday prime lineup ranked among the top 25 programs for the night with Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and young Adults 18-34.
