The Debate will take place at Miami Dade College and will air LIVE on Univision Network
WHAT: Univision News and The Washington Post will host a DNC/Florida Democratic Party Primary Debate with former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Senator Bernie Sanders at the nation’s largest and most diverse college, Miami Dade College (MDC), on Wednesday, March 9, 2016. It will air LIVE on Univision Network at 9 p.m. ET/8 p.m. CT/6 p.m. PT and simulcast on CNN and FUSION, with live streaming on Univision.com, The Washington Post, CNN.com and FUSION.net.
Facebook will also team up with Univision and The Washington Post to engage with the millions of viewers that are expected to tune-in and use social media as they view, share, comment and ask questions about the debate and the candidates. Facebook will provide real-time data throughout the debate.
Additionally, viewers watching the Univision/Washington Post debate will be able to opt into Purple, a new messaging app that provides real-time updates and coverage of the presidential elections via text messages. This debate will mark the first time that Purple partners with a news organization to send Spanish-only updates, which will allow Univision to interact with its audience in a way that has never been done before.
The debate will be open to credentialed media only. Journalists interested in obtaining press credentials should fill out the request form here. Media will be required to present photo identification and a company ID upon check-in at the media-filing center. Please note that a credential will not grant access to the auditorium where the Debate will take place.
The deadline to apply for press credentials is Friday, March 4, 2016 at 12 p.m. ET. No credentials will be processed after that date. Space is limited and will be granted on a first come first served basis. QUÉ: Univision Noticias y The Washington Post presentarán un Debate Primario Demócrata del DNC/Partido Demócrata de la Florida entre la ex secretaria de estado Hillary Clinton y el senador Bernie Sanders, el miércoles 9 de marzo de 2016 en la institución de estudios superiores más grande y diversa del país, Miami Dade College (MDC). Saldrá al aire EN VIVO por Univision a las 9 p.m. hora del Este/8 p.m. Centro/6 p.m. Pacífico, con transmisión simultánea por CNN y FUSION. Además, podrá verse vía streaming en vivo en Univision.com, The Washington Post, CNN.com y FUSION.net.

El debate estará abierto exclusivamente a medios de comunicación que hayan obtenido credenciales de acceso. Los periodistas interesados en recibir credenciales de prensa deben llenar la solicitud aquí. A su llegada al centro de medios del evento, se les exigirá presentar una identificación personal con foto y una identificación de la compañía que representan. Por favor tengan en cuenta que la credencial no otorgará acceso al auditorio donde se llevará a cabo el debate.
La fecha tope para solicitar credenciales de prensa es el viernes 4 de marzo a las 12 p.m. No se procesarán credenciales después de esa fecha.
