Last Week, Univision Ranked as the No. 5 Broadcast Network Among Both Young Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49

 On Sunday, Nuestra Belleza Latina’s Season Premiere Averaged 2.3 Million Total Viewers 2+, Delivered More Young Adults 18-34 Than CBS’ and NBC’s Lineups

 Univision Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of February 22, 2016 to February 28, 2016

 In the February sweep-to-date, Univision is the 5th largest broadcast network in the country among Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and young Adults 18-34.

Last week (M-SU), Univision ranked as the No. 5 broadcast network among both young Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49.  Also, Univision out-delivered one or more of the English-language broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX) on five nights among young Adults 18-34.

Airing M-F 8pm, “Antes Muerta Que Lichita” (I’d Rather be Dead Than Ordinary) saw week-to-week growth among Total Viewers 2+ (+2% to 1.9 million), Adults 18-49 (+4% to 895,000) and young Adults 18-34 (+10% to 419,000).

Airing M-F 9pm, “Pasión y Poder” (Passion and Power) saw week-to-week growth among Total Viewers 2+ (+5% to 2.3 million), Adults 18-49 (+3% to 1.1 million) and young Adults 18-34 (+7% to 507,000).

Airing M-F 10pm, “El Hotel de los Secretos” (The Hotel of Secrets) saw week-to-week growth among Total Viewers 2+ (+7% to 1.9 million), Adults 18-49 (+6% to 944,000) and young Adults 18-34 (+10% to 401,000).

On Saturday, Univision ranked as the No. 4 broadcast network among Adults 18-49, outperforming FOX.

  • Airing 8-10pm, “Crónicas de Sábado” saw week-to-week growth among Total Viewers 2+ (+12% to 1.1 million) and young Adults 18-34 (+26% to 225,000).
  • Next, “Sal y Pimienta” (Salt and Pepper) saw week-to-week growth among Total Viewers 2+ (+3% to 1.2 million) and young Adults 18-34 (+25% to 191,000).
  • Univision’s entire Saturday prime lineup ranked among the top 10 programs for the night with Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and young Adults 18-34.

On Sunday, opposite the Oscars Red Carpet and Awards…

  • Airing 7-8pm, “Aquí y Ahora” (Here and Now) saw week-to-week growth among Total Viewers 2+ (+22% to 1.9 million), Adults 18-49 (+31% to 842,000) and young Adults 18-34 (+39% to 379,000).
  • Airing 8-10pm, the season premiere of Nuestra Belleza Latina…
    • Averaged 2.3 million Total Viewers 2+, 1.1 million Adults 18-49 and 538,000 young Adults 18-34.
    • Univision ranked as the No. 2 broadcast network during the time period (8:00pm-10:00pm) and entire night (7:00pm-11:00pm) among Adults 18-49 and young Adults 18-34.
    • Was the fifth most-watched program on all of broadcast television with more young Adult 18-34 viewers than the entire lineups on CBS (“60 Minutes” and “Las Vegas”) and NBC (“Dateline” and “Ted”).
    • Delivered more Adults 18-49 than the original airings of CBS’ “60 Minutes” as well as the movie presentations of “Las Vegas” on CBS and “Ted” on NBC.
  • At 10pm, “La Viuda Negra II’s” (The Black Widow) second season premiere…
    • La Viuda Negra II’s” second season premiere delivered 2.1 million Total Viewers, 1.1 million Adults 18-49 and 546,000 young Adults 18-34 in simulcast across Univision, UniMás and Galavision.
    • During the one-hour (10:00pm-11:00pm) broadcast, Univision ranked as the No. 2 broadcast network among Adults 18-49 and young Adults 18-34, outperforming CBS and NBC in each demographic.
    • Was the eighth most-watched program on all of broadcast television with more Adult 18-34 viewers than the entire line-ups on CBS (“60 Minutes” and “Las Vegas”) and NBC (“Dateline” and “Ted”).
  • Univision’s entire Sunday prime lineup ranked among the top 10 programs for the night with young Adults 18-34.
