UniMás Ranked as the No. 2 Spanish-Language Network on Wednesday Night With Adults 18-49 and Young Adults 18-34

UniMás was the No. 2 Spanish-language network beating Telemundo for the entire weekend among Total Viewers 2+ (+28%), Adults 18-49 (+61%) and young Adults 18-34 (+65%).
- UniMás ranked as the No. 2 Spanish-language network for the sixth consecutive Saturday night and attracted more than double the Adults 18-49 (+116%) and young Adults 18-34 (+104%) compared to Telemundo. UniMás also reported double-digit percentage gains over Telemundo among Total Viewers 2+ (+29%) on Saturday night.
- Airing head-to-head, UniMás’ Cine Cantinflas film “El Siete Machos” attracted 908,000 Total Viewers 2+, 454,000 Adults 18-49 viewers and 188,000 young Adults 18-34.
- Following at 9pm, the UniMás feature film presentation “Failure to Launch” delivered 704,000 Total Viewers 2+, 388,000 Adults 18-49 viewers and 187,000 young Adults 18-34.
- In fact, UniMás’ back-to-back movie lineup out delivered Telemundo’s entire primetime lineup including “Qué Noche” and “America’s Funniest Videos” with Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and young Adults 18-34.
- On Sunday night, UniMás maintained its position as the No. 2 Spanish-language network over Telemundo among Total Viewers 2+ (+28%), Adults 18-49 (+34%) and young Adults 18-34 (+45%).
- UniMás kicked off the night with the Cineplex film, “Hero Wanted” and attracted 732,000 Total Viewers 2+, 360,000 Adults 18-49 and 156,000 young Adults 18-34.
- Airing head-to-head with Telemundo’s “Reina Del Sur,” the film delivered more Total Viewers 2+ (+21%), Adults 18-49 (+25%) and young Adults 18-34 viewers (+12%).
- Following at 8pm, UniMás’ feature presentation “Flight” built on its lead-in and attracted 897,000 Total Viewers 2+, 427,000 Adults 18-49 and 214,000 young Adults 18-34. The film out-delivered Telemundo’s “Gran Hermano” by double-digit percentages with Total Viewers 2+ (+14%), Adults 18-49 viewers (+15%) and young Adults 18-34 (+29%).
On Wednesday night UniMás ranked as the No. 2 Spanish-language network over Telemundo with Adults 18-49 (+5%) and young Adults 18-34 (+23%).
- UniMás aired a Mexican National friendly match between Mexico and Senegal on Wednesday night and averaged 1.3 million Total Viewers 2+, 760,000 Adults 18-49 and 354,000 young Adults 18-34. The friendly match was the highest rated soccer match 2016 to-date and ranked among the top 20 programs for the night with both Adults 18-49 (#20) and young Adults 18-34 (#17).
UniMás reported week-over week primetime audience gains of +36% among Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and young Adults 18-34.
Versus the same week a year ago (02/09/15 – 02/15/15), UniMás attracted more Total Viewers 2+ (+35%), Adults 18-49 (+30%) and young Adults 18-34 (+36%).
In the current 2015/16 Season, UniMás is over-delivering the same weeks in the 2014/15 Season among Total Viewers 2+ (+17%) and Adults 18-49 (+9%) during broadcast prime.
UniMás, on average, delivered more viewers than the combined audience of Estrella, Azteca and MundoMax among Total Viewers 2+ (+49%) and more than double the Adults 18-49 (+116%) and more than double the young Adults 18-34 (+138%).
