Attendees will have the opportunity to pitch their business idea to a panel of judges for a chance to win $10,000 to fund their dream business
WHAT: More than 2,000 attendees are expected to attend the fourth annual Feria Prosperidad (Prosperity Fair) event designed to meet the financial wellness needs of the Pomona Valley and surrounding Inland Empire and San Gabriel Valley by offering resources and information relating to Small Business Development and Growth, Financial Wellness, Business Development and Loans. Adding to this year’s fair, attendees will have the opportunity to pitch their business idea to a panel of judges for a chance to a win $10,000 contest in an effort to promote the spirit of Hispanic entrepreneurship.
The event will feature workshops from participating nonprofits. Wells Fargo and H&R Block will also be hosting workshops.
Preregistered attendees over the age of 18 with a Social Security Number (SSN) or Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) will participate in the contest for a chance to win $10,000.

QUÉ: Se tiene previsto que más de 2,000 personas concurran a la cuarta edición anual del evento Feria Prosperidad, que tiene como propósito atender las necesidades de solidez económica del valle de Pomona y las zonas cercanas de Inland Empire y el valle de San Gabriel, ofreciendo recursos e información relacionada con el desarrollo y crecimiento de pequeñas empresas, la solidez económica, el desarrollo empresarial y préstamos. Como novedad en la feria de este año, los concurrentes tendrán la oportunidad de presentar una idea para una empresa ante un panel de jueces por la oportunidad de ganar $10,000 en un concurso, en un esfuerzo por promover el espíritu empresarial de los hispanos.
El evento incluirá talleres de trabajo ofrecidos por las organizaciones participantes sin fines de lucro. Wells Fargo y H&R Block también presentarán talleres.
Las personas que se inscriban con anticipación para asistir y tengan por lo menos 18 años, como también número de Seguro Social o de identificación tributaria, podrán participar en un concurso por la oportunidad de ganar $10,000.
