NEW YORK – OCTOBER 16, 2015 – Univision Deportes, the multimedia sports division of Univision Communications Inc. (UCI) that also includes UDN, the No. 1 Spanish-language sports network, today announced the second annual Premios Univision Deportes (Univision Sports Awards). Premios Univision Deportes launched successfully in 2014 as the ultimate sports award show for U.S. Hispanics honoring top athletes and teams from the leagues and sports that Hispanics care about most.
This year’s two-hour presentation will celebrate sports figures for their accomplishments on and off the field across soccer, basketball, baseball, football, boxing, auto racing and more. Premios Univision Deportes will take place in Miami and will air live on the Univision Network on Sunday, December 20, 2015 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT with a simulcast on UDN (Univision Deportes Network).

Hosted by Julian Gil, actor and co-host of Univision Deportes’ longest running sports show “República Deportiva,” and Jacqueline Bracamontes, actress and judge of Univision’s top reality contest “Nuestra Belleza Latina,” Premios Univision Deportes will include musical performances by renowned Latin artists and a one-hour red carpet pre-show special to air on UDN. Premios Univision Deportes will be awarded to 25 winners for their passion and excellence in sports and their connection to Hispanic American sports fans. The awards will be presented by sports legends and Univision talent.

LA SEGUNDA EDICIÓN ANUAL DE PREMIOS UNIVISION DEPORTES SE TRASMITIRÁ EN VIVO EN LA CADENA UNIVISION
NUEVA YORK – 16 DE OCTUBRE DE 2015 – Univision Deportes, la división deportiva multimedia de Univision Communications Inc. (UCI) que también incluye a UDN, la cadena No. 1 de deportes en español, anunció hoy la segunda edición anual de Premios Univision Deportes. Premios Univision Deportes se lanzó con éxito en el año 2014 como el mejor programa de premios deportivos dirigido a los hispanos en los Estados Unidos y en homenaje a los mejores deportistas y equipos de las ligas y los deportes que más les interesan a los hispanos.
Este año, la presentación de dos horas homenajeará a celebridades de los deportes por sus logros en el fútbol, baloncesto, béisbol, fútbol americano, boxeo, carreras de auto y más, como también sus éxitos más allá de los deportes. Premios Univision Deportes tendrá lugar en Miami y se trasmitirá el domingo, 20 de diciembre de 2015 a las 8:00 p.m. hora del Este/Pacífico en la Cadena Univision y simultáneamente en UDN (Univision Deportes Network).

Premios Univision Deportes, bajo la conducción de Julián Gil, actor y copresentador del programa deportivo de más larga trayectoria de Univision Deportes, “República Deportiva”, y Jacqueline Bracamontes, actriz y miembro del jurado del popular concurso tipo reality de belleza de Univision, “Nuestra Belleza Latina”, incluirá actos musicales por renombrados artistas latinos y un programa especial de antesala de una hora que se trasmitirá en UDN, con la llegada a la alfombra roja de los asistentes. Se otorgarán Premios Univision Deportes a 25 ganadores por su pasión y excelencia deportiva, además de su conexión con los hispanoamericanos aficionados al deporte. Legendarios deportistas y profesionales de Univision entregarán los premios.
