Univision Network Ranked No. 1 Saturday Night, Beating ABC, NBC, CBS & FOX with the U.S.A. vs. México Match

Univision Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of October 5, 2015 to October 11, 2015

  • Univision Network ranked No. 1 Saturday night among both Adults 18-49 and young Adults 18-34 due to the Copa CONCACAF match between U.S.A. and México.  Averaging 2.6 million Adults 18-49, the 9 p.m. telecast was the highest viewed soccer match on any network (excluding tournaments) since the 3/26/2013 World Cup Qualifier on UniMás (2.8 million).  Preceding the match, the 8 p.m. pre-game show Fútbol Central averaged 784,000 Adults 18-49.
  • Last week (M-SU), Univision out-delivered one or more of the English-language broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX) on four nights among young Adults 18-34.  Also, Univision grew week-to-week among Total Viewers 2+ (+9%), Adults 18-49 (+16%) and young Adults 18-34 (+18%).
  • Airing M-F 8 p.m., “Antes Muerta Que Lichita” (I’d Rather be Dead Than Ordinary) saw week-to-week growth among Total Viewers 2+ (+4% to 2.1 million) and Adults 18-49 (+3% to 960,000).
  • Airing M-F 9 p.m., “Lo Imperdonable” (The Unforgivable) saw week-to-week growth among Adults 18-49 (+2% to 1.2 million).
  • At 10 p.m., “Yo No Creo En Los Hombres” (I Don’t Trust Men) saw week-to-week growth among Total Viewers 2+ (+5% to 2.3 million), Adults 18-49 (+11% to 1.1 million) and young Adults 18-34 (+9% to 455,000).
  • On Sunday, Univision’s full primetime lineup ranked within the top 20 programs for the entire evening among Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and young Adults 18-34.
    • At 7 p.m., “Aquí y Ahora” (Here and Now) experienced week-to-week growth among Adults 18-49 (+3% to 721,000).
    • At 8 p.m., “La Banda” averaged 2.4 million Total Viewers 2+, 1.1 million Adults 18-49 and 462,000 young Adults 18-34.
    • Finally at 10 p.m., “Sal y Pimienta” (Salt and Pepper) averaged 1.7 million Total Viewers 2+, 760,000 Adults 18-49 and 347,000 young Adults 18-34.
