Univision Network Ranked No. 3 Among Young Adults 18-34, Outperforming ABC and CBS

Univision Broadcast Prime Highlights
Week of June 29, 2015 to July 5, 2015

Last week (M-SU), Univision Network ranked No. 3 in primetime among young Adults 18-34, outperforming ABC and CBS.  Univision out-delivered one or more of the English-language broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX) on six nights this past week among both young Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49.

“Amores con Trampa” (Fooled Into Love) helped make Univision the No. 4 network during the 8pm hour among young Adults 18-34, outperforming CBS.  The novela averaged 2.2 million Total Viewers 2+, 1.0 million Adults 18-49 and 492,000 young Adults 18-34.

Airing Monday to Friday 9pm-10pm,  “Lo Imperdonable” (The Unforgivable) helped make Univision the No. 3 network during the 9pm hour among young Adults 18-34, outperforming CBS and FOX.  The novela averaged 2.2 million Total Viewers 2+, 1.0 million Adults 18-49 and 462,000 young Adults 18-34.

At 10pm, “Que Te Perdone Dios” (May God Forgive You) helped make Univision the No. 3 network among both young Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49, outperforming ABC and CBS in each demographic.  The novela averaged 2.6 million Total Viewers 2+, 1.1 million Adults 18-49 and 473,000 young Adults 18-34.

Airing “Sabado Gigante” (Giant Saturday), Univision ranked as the No. 3 network on Saturday night among both young Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49, outperforming ABC and CBS in each demographic.  “Sabado Gigante” (Giant Saturday) averaged 1.2 million Total Viewers 2+, 504,000 Adults 18-49 and 229,000 young Adults 18-34.

On Sunday, Univision’s full primetime lineup ranked within the top 20 programs for the entire evening among Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and young Adults 18-34.

  • At 7pm, “Aqui y Ahora” (Here and Now) averaged 1.2 million Total Viewers 2+, 482,000 Adults 18-49 and 174,000 young Adults 18-34.
  • Next, the finale of “Me Pongo de Pie” (Here I Stand) averaged 1.7 million Total Viewers 2+, 713,000 Adults 18-49 and 271,000 young Adults 18-34.
  • At 9:59pm, “Sal y Pimienta” (Salt and Pepper) helped make Univision the No. 3 network among both young Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49, outperforming ABC and CBS in each demographic.  The show saw week-to-week growth among Adults 18-49 (+4% to 756,000).
