MIAMI, FL – JUNE 22, 2015 – Univision Network has announced the first set of all-star performers confirmed for this summer’s most anticipated, highly-rated and socially engaged event, “Premios Juventud” (PJ) 2015 awards show, which brings together the hottest stars to perform and receive top recognition from billenials and Latin youth. The 12th Annual Edition of “Premios Juventud” (Youth Awards) will air on the Univision Network LIVE on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT (7 p.m. Central). PJ 2015 will kick off with a live pre-show, beginning at 7:00 p.m. ET/PT (6 p.m. Central), that will feature all-star celebrity arrivals giving viewers a must-see preview to the funfest entertainment-packed award show of the summer.
Fans will be treated to an adrenaline filled night, as PJ 2015 will bring them the best summer beats. Spicing up this year’s awards ceremony, America’s hit pop sensation Fifth Harmony is set to take the PJ stage for the first time, to perform their smash hit and one of this summer’s favorite songs, “Worth It.”
Bringing back his unique and contagious rhythm is Mr. Worldwide music sensation Pitbull, a multiple PJ Award winner and nominee, who will take over the PJ stage along with Puerto Rican reggaetón star Wisín and Swedish-Congolese R&B singer Mohombi to hype up the crowd with his latest single “Baddest Girl in Town.” Mexican regional fans will be seduced by one of the most nominated artists of the night, singer Luis Coronel who will be performing his romantic hit “Cuando La Miro.” In addition, beloved singer Chiquis will surely have the audience dancing in their seats while she performs her new single, “Completamente;” while music star Larry Hernández pleases his fans with his most recent hit “Vete Acostumbrando.”
Other nominated artists set to bring excitement to the star-studded evening are fan-favorite actress and singer Maite Perroni performing “Vas a Querer Volver,” Venezuelan tropical pop duo Chino & Nacho with “Me Estoy Enamorando,” as well as Puerto Rican reggeatón singer Nicky Jam.
