Station Took Home Best Morning Newscast, Regardless of Language
NEW YORK – MAY 5, 2015 – This past Saturday, WXTV Univision 41 was honored by the New York Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) with five Emmy®Awards. The station’s morning newscast, “Noticias Univision 41 Al Despertar” (Univision 41 News at Dawn) won in the category of Best Morning Newscast. WXTV is the premier Spanish-language television station in the New York area.
“These awards speak to our continued commitment to inform, entertain and empower the Hispanic community here in the Tri-State area,” said Ramón J. WXTV’s Emmy® winners, listed by their respective categories, are as follows:

The 58th Annual New York Emmy® Awards took place at the Marriott Marquis in New York City on Saturday, May 2, 2015. Every year, NATAS recognizes excellence in broadcasting in the New York area.
The station’s newscasts include a weekday program from 5 a.m. to 7 a.m.; a weekday evening newscast at 6 p.m. and 11 p.m.; and weekends at 6 p.m. and 11 p.m.

El noticiero matutino del canal, “Noticias Univision 41 al Despertar”, ganó en la categoría de Mejor noticiero matutino. WXTV es la estación de televisión líder en español en el área de Nueva York.
