Club America Match on Univision Outperforms NBA on TNT
Univision Deportes aired 5 Liga MX matches last week, including the most-watched club soccer matches on all TV regardless of language.
- This is the fourth consecutive week Univision Deportes has delivered the most-watched soccer matches across all networks.
The Univision broadcast of America vs. Tigres on Saturday 6 p.m. ET delivered 1.0 million Total Viewers and 580,000 Adults 18-49, besting the NBA on TNT (Denver vs. Memphis) by +40% and +73%, respectively.
- In addition, the America vs. Tigres match out-delivered four live NBA games on TNT and NBA TV last week, six live NHL games on NBC Sports Network, and four live English Premier League matches on NBC Sports Network.
Liga MX continues to deliver strong ratings for UDN.
- Live Liga MX matches are averaging 278,000 Total Viewers and 175,000 Adults 18-49 per game on UDN this season, increases of +10% and +5% among Total Viewers and Adults 18-49, respectively, vs. same time period during Clausura ’14 season.
- Liga MX on UDN delivers more viewers than live NBA games on NBA TV, besting NBA TV by +4% among Total Viewers and +31% among Adults 18-49.
