MIAMI, FL – JANUARY 27, 2015 – Today, the Univision Network revealed the names of the first group of recording artists confirmed to perform on the 27th edition of its “Premio Lo Nuestro a la Música Latina” (Lo Nuestro Latin Music Awards).
The initial group of performers includes: Chiquis, who is nominated for the first time under the Regional Mexican Female Artist of the Year category; talented urban artist Farruko, who will perform his super hit “Passion Wine” featuring Sean Paul and Wisin; new sensation Gente de Zona; salsa phenomenon Marc Anthony who, in addition to singing his headline-grabbing “Flor Pálida”, will join “Bachata King” Romeo Santos in the debut of their single “Yo También”; Ricky Martin, with a world premiere performance of his new single, “Disparo al Corazón”, from his highly anticipated new album “A Quien Quiera Escuchar”; Gerardo Ortiz, who has six nominations; Prince Royce, unveiling a special Spanglish version of his song “Stuck on a Feeling”, a mainstream success; as well as the multifaceted artist and “Mr. 305,” Pitbull.
The “Premio a la Excelencia” award, which honors artists for their impressive careers and contributions to Latin music, will go to Ricardo Arjona, the successful Guatemalan singer and composer, who will also perform.
“This edition of Premio Lo Nuestro will build on our tradition of offering Latin music lovers across the country a spectacular showcase,” said Alberto Ciurana, president of Programming and Content, Univision Networks. “We have an impressive lineup of top artists who will debut their new work on our stage, in addition to performing today’s hottest songs.”
“Premio lo Nuestro,” the longest-running, most popular celebration of Latin music in the U.S., will be hosted by the talented TV personality Galilea Montejo and actor Cristián de la Fuente, and will air on the Univision Network LIVE from Miami’s AmericanAirlines Arena on Thursday, Feb. 19, 2015, at 8 p.m. ET/PT (7 p.m. CT). One hour earlier, beginning at 7 p.m. ET/PT (6 p.m. CT), “Noche de Estrellas,” a LIVE pre-show special, will offer viewers a peek at every exciting moment of the celebrities’ grand entrances on the Arrivals Carpet.
The awards are bestowed each year to recognize excellence in four musical genres within the Latin music industry: Pop, Tropical, Regional Mexican, and Urban. All winners are determined by fans through votes cast on www.premiolonuestro.com. The show’s dedicated website provides a comprehensive online experience for fans, with a variety of digital offerings.

MIAMI, FL – 27 DE ENERO DE, 2015 – Hoyla Cadena Univision dio a conocer los nombres del primer grupo de músicos que se presentarán en la 27ma edición de “Premio Lo Nuestro a la Música Latina”.
El primer grupo de artistas incluye a: Chiquis, quien es candidata por primera vez bajo la categoría de Artista Femenina del Año de Música Regional Mexicana; Farruko, artista de talento de música urbana, quien presentará su súper éxito “Passion Wine”; la más reciente sensación, Gente de Zona; el fenomenal salsero Marc Anthony, quien además de cantar la comentada canción “Flor Pálida”, se sumará al Rey de la Bachata, Romeo Santos, para el estreno de su sencillo “Yo También”; Ricky Martin, con el estreno mundial de su nuevo sencillo, “Disparo al Corazón”, de su muy esperado nuevo álbum “A Quien Quiera Escuchar”; Gerardo Ortiz, quien tiene seis nominaciones bajo dos géneros; Prince Royce, dará a conocer la versión especial en Spanglish de “Stuck on a Feeling”, un éxito generalizado; además del multifacético artista miamense y “Mr. 305,” Pitbull.
El “Premio a la Excelencia”, destinado a artistas con carreras y aportes impresionantes a la música latina, se otorgará a Ricardo Arjona, el exitoso cantautor guatemalteco, quien también se presentará.

Conducirán “Premio lo Nuestro”, la celebración más popular y de más larga trayectoria de la música latina en los Estados Unidos, la talentosa personalidad de televisión Galilea Montejo y el actor Cristián de la Fuente. Se trasmitirá en la Cadena Univision EN VIVO desde AmericanAirlines Arena en Miami el jueves, 19 de febrero de 2015, a las 8 p.m. hora del Este/Pacífico (7 p.m. Centro). Una hora antes, a partir de las 7 p.m. hora del Este/Pacífico (6 p.m. Centro), se transmitirá “Noche de Estrellas,” un especial de antesala EN VIVO, que ofrecerá a los televidentes un vistazo a todos los emocionantes momentos de la entrada triunfal de las celebridades a su llegada a la Alfombra.
