UDN Ranks as the No. 1 Spanish-Language Sports Network Last Week, Besting Fox Deportes and ESPN Deportes
Univision Deportes aired 6 Liga MX matches last week, including the Chivas vs. UNAM match which was the most-viewed soccer match of the week across all networks regardless of language.
- This is the second consecutive week Univision Deportes has delivered the most-viewed soccer match across all networks.
The UniMás broadcast of Chivas vs. UNAM on Sunday, January 18 at 6:00 p.m. ET delivered 1.2 million Total Viewers and 725,000 Adults 18-49, besting the top English Premier League match on NBC Sports Network, among others.
- In addition, the Chivas vs. UNAM match out-delivered five live NBA games on ESPN and NBA TV last week, and all three NHL games on NBCSN among Adults 18-49.
UDN ranked as the No. 1 Spanish-language sports network in Total Day, out-delivering Fox Deportes and ESPN Deportes by 73% and 29% respectively among Total Viewers, and by 65% and 27% respectively among Adults 18-49.
Liga MX is averaging 284,000 Total Viewers and 162,000 Adults 18-49 per game on UDN this season, increases of +42% and +35% among Total Viewers and Adults 18-49 vs. same time period during Apertura ’14 season.

Last week, fans live streamed nearly 1 million minutes of Liga MX matches across UnivisionDeportes.com and the Univision Deportes App, with 96% of streams occurring in the app.
The Chivas vs. UNAM match ranks as the second most streamed match of the Clausura ‘15 season, behind only the America vs. Leon match on January 10, 2015.
