ViX Announces the Premiere of “LA BANDA,” a Story Where Ambition and Desperation Cross the Line Into Crime
A group of ordinary people, driven by loyalty and necessity, make decisions that change everything.
MIAMI, July 9, 2026 — ViX, the world’s leading Spanish-language streaming service, announces the premiere of its new original comedy series, “LA BANDA,” a story that blends dark humor and drama to explore how far people are willing to go when they feel they have nothing left to lose. The series will premiere on July 24, exclusively on ViX Premium, with all eight episodes available at launch.
The cast is led by Miguel Rodarte, Paulina Gaitán, Tessa Ia and Aldo Escalante alongside Fernando Bonilla, Aida López, Raúl Briones, Juan Daniel García Treviño, and Martín Saracho, with special appearances by Juan Carlos Colombo and Jesús Ochoa.
The story follows Rafael, who is being questioned by Paloma, a mysterious woman, as the events that led to thecreation of La Banda gradually unfold.
Everything changes when Víctor Reyes, owner of Sanitarios Reyes, names Rafael as his successor and reveals hisplan to leave the company to its employees. However, Víctor’s sudden death and the arrival of his son, Andy, a reckless heir, place the future of both the company and the entire Valle Soleado community at risk.
Faced with the threat of losing everything, Rafael betrays his own principles and, together with his wife Marcela,who harbors a hidden past, as well as Camilo and Nina, forms an improvised criminal gang with one clear goal: to save the company.
What begins as a desperate plan quickly spirals into a series of increasingly dangerous decisions involvingbotched kidnappings, robberies, and unexpected alliances that will change their lives forever.
Amid betrayals, divided loyalties, and constant mistakes, La Banda will face extreme situations where everydecision could be their last. Just when all hope seems lost, a new enemy emerges, forcing them to pull off thebiggest and most dangerous heist of their lives.
LA BANDA is produced by Dynamo and executive produced by Juliana Flórez Luna and Diego Ramírez Schrempp, with Gerardo Motta serving as producer. The series is led by showrunners Gabriel Nuncio and Alexandro Aldrete, with scripts by Josh Candia, Carla Sierra, Olfa Masmoudi, Alo Valenzuela, and Karín Valecillos, and is directed by Federico Veiroj and Salvador Espinosa.

Un grupo de personas comunes, impulsadas por la lealtad y la necesidad, toma decisiones que lo cambian todo.
MIAMI, 9 DE JULIO DE 2026 — ViX, el servicio de streaming en español líder en el mundo, anuncia el estreno de su nueva serie original de comedia “LA BANDA”, una historia que combina humor negro y drama para explorar hasta dónde pueden llegar las personas cuando sienten que no tienen nada que perder. La serie llegará el próximo 24 de julio, exclusivamente a través de ViX Premium, con sus ocho episodios disponibles desde el día de estreno.

La historia sigue a Rafael, quien es interrogado por Paloma, una enigmática mujer, mientras se reconstruyen los eventos que dieron origen a La Banda.
Todo cambia cuando Víctor Reyes, dueño de Sanitarios Reyes, lo nombra su sucesor y revela su intención de heredar la empresa a sus empleados. Sin embargo, su repentina muerte y la llegada de su hijo Andy, un heredero irresponsable, ponen en riesgo el futuro de la compañía y de toda la comunidad de Valle Soleado.
Ante la amenaza de perderlo todo, Rafael traiciona sus propios principios y, junto a su esposa Marcela, quien guarda un pasado oculto, Camilo y Nina, forma una improvisada banda criminal con un objetivo claro, salvar la empresa.
Lo que comienza como un plan desesperado pronto se convierte en una cadena de decisiones cada vez más peligrosas, entre secuestros fallidos, robos y alianzas inesperadas que cambiarán sus vidas para siempre.
Entre traiciones, lealtades divididas y errores constantes, La Banda se enfrentará a situaciones límite donde cada decisión podría ser la última. Cuando todo parece perdido, un nuevo enemigo emerge, obligándolos a ejecutar el golpe más grande y peligroso de sus vidas.
