Univision’s Premiere of LOS RICOS TAMBIÉN LLORAN Reaches 2.7 Million Total Viewers 2+

The Two-Hour Special Event Positioned Univision Among the Top Three Most-Watched Networks on All of Television and the No. 1 Spanish-Language Network in the Time Period and for Entire Night Across Key Demos

MIAMI, FL – September 8, 2022 – On Tuesday, September 6, 2022, Univision premiered the epic remake of the hit telenovela LOS RICOS TAMBIÉN LLORAN in a two-hour special event that reached 2.7 million Total Viewers 2+, who tuned in to all or part of the telecast from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. ET.

The premiere of LOS RICOS TAMBIÉN LLORAN made Univision the No. 2 network on all of television, regardless of language in the 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. time period, outperforming CBS, NBC, FOX, The CW and all cable networks among Adults 18-34 as well as the No. 3 network ahead of CBS, FOX, The CW and all cable networks with Adults 18-49. Also for this night Univision was the No. 1 Spanish-language network in the time period and for the entire night with double-to-triple digit audience advantages over Telemundo among Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.

Additional Highlights:

  • Averaged 1.4 million Total Viewers 2+, 595,000 Adults 18-49 and 245,000 Adults 18-34.
  • Was the fourth most-watched program on all of television with more Adult 18-49 and Adult 18-34 viewers than the first-run episode of ABC’s “Claim To Fame,” FOX’s special airing of “TMZ Investigates Who Really Killed Michael Jackson” as well as the entire original primetime line-up on The CW (“Leonardo” and “Devils”).
  • Delivered more Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34 than all of Telemundo’s primetime novela/series premieres in 2022 thus far.
  • Outperformed Telemundo’s two-hour premiere of Turkish novela “El Fuego del Destino” head-to-head in the 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. time slot with double-to-triple digit audience advantages among Total Viewers 2+ (+58% advantage), Adults 18-49 (+102% advantage) and Adults 18-34 (+123% advantage).
